India Arrests Crew of US Ship Carrying Weapons.....

The OP and the OP source. It was stated that they were in international waters...and escorted into port by the Indian Coast guard.
Then you better read again,
India arrests crew of US ship carrying weapons

NEW DELHI (AP) — Police in a southern Indian port city on Friday arrested the crew of a U.S.-owned ship on charges of illegally transporting weapons and ammunition in Indian waters.
And I don't see anywhere that it's contradicted.

Again. You think India would go to NUCLEAR WAR with the single most powerful nation...and their ally...over 35 armed crewmen? And I am childish? I think the only person here clueless on foreign policy isn't me.

You don't get how it works. India will simply exercise its sovereign rights and arrest any armed individuals in their territorial waters without permission. Your foolish plan involving aircraft carriers would start the war.

Just search William H Watson. He claimed they weren't in Indian waters and were asked to follow them into port. I saw that in the New York Times. Like I said. If they were not in Indian waters and were asked to follow them into port...then it is not their fault they didn't have documentation and it is likely just an attempt to squeeze money out of the people. As a rule I don't trust third world nations or their "police forces."

Even if those people are in foreign and not territorial waters as it seems might have happened right?

IF, then I agree. However I don't concede IF at this time.

I suppose we will see. I however will not be trusting the government of a 3rd world nation. We need more armed security on the high seas.

India did what was necessary. The crew have been charged with illegal procurement of diesel and possession of arms and ammunitions without required documentation.

Illegal procurement of diesel? What exactly is that?
