Mercury?
Venus?
Mercury?
I'll let your posts speak for themselves. You resort to spin, justification and rationalization any time the facts don't support your agenda. You cannot help but try to rationalize any of your heroes failures. Sorry, but Texas record on low paying, no benefit jobs speaks for itself. Face it....Texas is a sell out and the people are paying.
You're from Texas.
Yep, best move I ever made in my life in 1992
Venus?
It's also a stronghold of "grassroots conservatism." Elsewhere in the country, GOP moderates (1) are losing their attractiveness to independents and centrists, thus setting up their Democratic opponents for electoral victories and (2) going to lose their running tickets to Tea Party candidates who can't win in swing districts with large numbers of independents and centrists, thus setting up their Democratic opponents for electoral victories. To put it another way, the GOP is in peril in those districts that are most reflective of the national demographics -- some of which exist, and some of which they currently hold.
That is pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point, the only question remains is whether the GOP will win the war of attrition to save their House Majority. But they are going to lose seats.
I have lived all over the country and have found that there is a lot of jealousy regarding TX. There are a lot more states than being reported that have emulated what TX has done but liberalism dies hard. It really is a shame, love that TX personal responsibility platform

No, the element.
Hmmm, wonder if you understand the definition of direct and indirect costs? Do you believe that when costs go up to business revenue goes up to the Federal Govt? We all apparently are supposed to believe that lower revenue to the govt. along with increased spending is going to balance the budget and lower the deficit and eventually pay down the debt. Didn't read the report, did you? Well back to ignore for you until I get that apology
I'm pretty sure Texas attracts more disdain than admiration from elsewhere in the Union, but whatever.
That is your opinion. I would argue that liberalism is irrational in that it destroys incentive and creates dependence.
[ . . . ]who are you to define all those that listen to Limbaugh. Why is it that you and others like you judge everyone else on your perceptions and your own ideology.
Only a liberal who really are the most selfish people in this country
I already told you that I don't listen to Limbaugh so if I don't listen how could I be spouting what Limbaugh says?
Good, so do I. I learned in the late 70's that liberalism had made a fool out of me [ . . . ] I grew up a JFK Democrat and have always been a Conservative
Yep, liberalism started out with good ideas but like all liberal programs go too far just like today but then again I forgot Conservatives want to starve kids, kill seniors, and pollute the air. Name for me one, just one of those liberal social programs that cost what they were intended to cost, do what they were attended to do, actually solved a problem, and didn't create a massive Federal bureaucracy?
I'm not greedy. I understand that the privileges and the freedoms that we have in this country are not free. I have no problem paying my fair share. I am fortunate enough to have been able to benefit from the resources that this country has offered me. I believe that it is my obligation to pay back into what has allowed me to get where I am today.
With people like you it is always Me ME ME.....
That would be a lie, California has 8% of the work force making minimum wage, TX has less than 5%. You really have been brainwashed. You do the math TX 500,000 minimum wage jobs with a employment number of 12 million, California with 1.6 million minimum wage jobs on a work force of 18 million
The states with the highest proportions of hourly paid workers earning at or below the federal minimum wage were Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Idaho (all between 7 and 8 percent). The states with the lowest percentages of hourly paid workers earning at or below the federal minimum wage were Alaska, Oregon, California, Montana, and Washington (all under 2 percent).
So hows that conservative "war on drugs" going Con? Funny how big government Con programs you support don't work out to well either. Hmmmmmm
No question about it, however the real question should be why? What is it about TX that have other states upset?
So California doesn't have a minimum wage? How many people live on that minimum wage? Let me help you, the California minimum wage is $8 an hour, would have thought you would look at your paycheck. 1.6 million Californians make minimum wage according to the California labor dept and BLS says there are 18 million working Californians so what percentage is that?
have you heard, California plan's on raising the minimum wage to 10 dollars an hour.

MICHAEL KINSMAN
State's minimum wage should be tied to inflation index
No one knows for sure how many Californians earn minimum wage. The best estimates claim that about 2 million jobs pay the minimum or slightly above that – about 13.5 percent of all jobs in the state
Great, that means more taxpaying businesses moving to TX
2$ is enough to make people flee? i guess some business's owners can't handle such a small obligation.
Not necessarily individual people but businesses will be fleeing in larger numbers than they are now.
