Republicans Lose Ground vs. Obama in the Shutdown Blame Game

Shhhh...let them think they are "winning" and its all a big game. They've been acting like its a game anyway. Look at their choices and quotes. You are right the people are seeing them for what they are - school yard bullies that need to get punched in the nose. Be a good parent and "just let it happen." Its the best way to end a bullying situation and we all know it.

The funny thing is the article is completely off base, polls are starting to swing toward blaming Obama and the Democrats...

Oh....right...I forgot!!!! :D

That's why Obama gets the blame for everything the Executive branch screws up...oh, wait...

Doubling down on the screwups certainly seems to not be working out too well for him so far, though. I wonder who gets blamed for that stroke of genius?

Greetings, apdst. :2wave:

You are believing in bad polling questions skewed to make you think people just hate Obamacare. People can think Obamacare sucks, but is better than nothing which the polls do not ask. if you ask most people if they do not like Obamacare the answer is probably going to be that it sucks. It is not great. it is not even good. If you ask that same person if they want to return to the pre-obamacare days they are going to say something is better than nothing. You thibnk that because obamacare is bad that nothing is good. That is your problem.

To put an analogy on it. Prison food sucks. If you offer it to a starving person out on the street they will eat it because nothing is worse. The sooner people like you wake up to the polling lie that is being told to you by people who want to pretend nothing is better than something because it cuts into their profits the better you will be at evaluating the real problems and why republicans are losing this fight.

Absolute rubbish and ignores the fact that most people were insured and just fine with their insurance before Obama and the dems started messing with it. You ignore time and again that the vast majority of our country was insured. You seem ignorant to the fact that insurance companies will make just as much, if not more profit from Obamacare. You've been had and you won't wake up to it. Instead you blast the average American, the majority that is against this nightmare calling them the fringe. It's those who think like you that are the fringe.

Problem #1, you get your news from Yahoo......

LOL.....I get my news from a variety of sources. Look at the majority of polls out there. This one isn't even close...but keep pretending that there is a way out of this mess for you guys where you don't entirely lose face.....

Did you see the Huff Post poll I posted?

I do not think that word, "facts", means what you think it does. It does not mean a bunch of mindless spin that you wish to be true.
Your projection ad hominem here is, as always, irrelevant and its basis erroneous.

Ade hominem does not mean what you think it does either apparently. And your undocumented spin is not facts. That is simple truth.

To the left of your posts it reads "Lean: VERY LIBERAL".

Thus your continued erroneous posts, like this one, and those where you blame the House Repubs for everything, are to be expected, as you are politically oriented at the extreme left.

So the american public is growing MORE disapproving of EVERYONE involved in this, with a majority of American's disapproving in Obama, the Democrats in Congress, and the Republicans in congress. 1% more blame Obama now than prior to the shutdown, 5% more blame the Democrats now than prior to the shutdown, and 7% more blame the Republicans now than prior to the shutdown

Yeah, that's about right. ALL of the dumbasses are acting just like what they are...dumbasses. Glad to see a majority of American's view it accurately rather than with the "My side's **** doesn't stink" view so many on this forum seem to have.

What I find interesting, and reassuring, is that the APPROVAL of any of the three groups are all rather mixed between strongly and somewhat approving. However, when it comes to the Disapproval of all of them, the contrast is STARK with people CLEARLY disapproving strongly rather than somewhat. This tells me that by and large those who are disapproving are truly bothered by this and not simply waffling nor giving a half hearted condemnation.

No one blames the media. But actually, you might try blaming him for what he's actually responsible for. Too often republicans leap into crazyville.

According to Moody, we are not in danger of default anyway. This is doomsday scare tactics at its finest.

Live updates: The shutdown

That is not what they say. What they say is that they think the government will continue to service the debt.

Ted Cruz: Shutdown hit Family trip...
Cruz shut 'er down and now he whines using his family..
Got TEAturd??

In addition, I LOVE the fact that Ted "I don't like Green eggs and Ham" Cruz...thought his stunt would propel him to the front of the GOP pack for their Presidential nominee....now has a 16% approval rating. DOH! Greatest self-destruction since Bobby "Deer in Headlights" Jindal.

LOL. Still living in fantasy land I see. When Tattoo says "the plane, the plane" you start running toward the fantasy.

Another great misrepresentation on your part. About half of the people polled on Sen Cruz didn't even know who he was or did not know enough about him to give an opinion. So says the folks that did the poll. But you didn't want to mention that.

LOL....sorry but it doesn't change the fact that his approval rating is lower than anyone else in the potential field....and his "Green and Eggs and Ham" attempt at raising his public profile....didn't work.

Not to mention that Cruz is driving the GOP into a civil war. My understanding is that much of what Boehner is doing is not directed at Democrats (he's not as crazy as Cruz and realizes that a default will mean economic and political disaster, even for his rich backers). Rather he is trying to manage the rift in the GOP due to freaks like Cruz forcing the debt ceiling issue. He doesn't want it to erupt into a public split between tea party freaks and republican normals.

I guess we'll find out in a couple days.

That's one thing that I do like about Cruz. He is helping the Democrats destroy the Republican party!

LOL. Now it's the debt issue? LOL. Once upon a time there was a Senator from Illinois that twice voted not to raise the debt limit. His name is Obama.

Lets also not forget Sen Cruz sided with the majority of Americans who have never wanted Obamadon'tcare to become law. A President by the name of Obama went against and is still against the wishes of the American people.

LOL. I suspect yours would be much lower than his. For the same reasons his isn't high.
