"The truckers circling I-495 will keep the left lane open for emergency vehicles, Conlon said, but "everybody that doesn't have a supporter sticker on their window, good luck: Nobody in, nobody out." The trucks will be going the 55 mile-per-hour speed limit."

We never criticized how the occutards protested. We criticized why they protested.

The occutards wanted more government handouts. These drivers want the government to get out of the private sector's way, so they can go to work.

You have a point to an extent. The difference is scale, intent and that there is a clock on this. Also, this speaks to me personally more than the OWS events that were about, well, pick a cause.

No, traffic is going to be severely heavy when they are there, the quote about "nobody in, nobody out" is a tad hyperbolic. But, If they break the law then they will probably be ticketed....I suspect that most four wheelers will stay away at those times, probably smart. As for your commentary about me personally, who cares? This isn't about me....But I understand you don't like what is going to happen so you have to attack the person that posts the thread, in the hopes of derailing it, and much like a psycho patient smearing **** all over the wall to drive people away from having a conversation about it....It is in a word:

This sort of thing is not unheard of in DC...My guess is most DC residents will take it in stride. IF they get mad at truckers, then so what else is new? Chances are these are the same people that show us no respect in the first place.

They are a part of the whole chain, not the entirety of it. I'd say there are lots of people that make civilized life possible, not just truck drivers.
