Ted Cruz launches faux filibuster as Senate readies spending bill vote

you aren't even willing to listen to any argument a liberal or obama support makes because you inherently think you are automatically right and they are automatically wrong.

Sure I am, spent 35 years in the business world and understand that results trump rhetoric. Certainly that is the way you feel and have the sites memorized that show those excellent Obama results that warrant your support?

No, don't like Green Eggs and ham but I am open to having my mind changed when you provide me with the sources for data showing what a great job Obama has done and why he deserves your support?

Try them try them...Sam I am.....

Apparently, Cruz missed that the point of the book is about finding out you actually like something you irrationally hate....

BINGO....that is what is so hilarious about it. He failed on so many levels.

The hilarious things is that the man even failed with his analogy......he didn't realize that the protagonist in GEAH is a stubborn man who decides he hates something before he tries it and has to admit that he likes it. EPIC FAIL.....but he did succeed at one thing.....it was the best career ending speech since Bobby Jindal's deer in headlights response to the SOTU.

Hey, totally understand, Obamacare is an incredible program that will finally generate the promised Obama results of a booming economy, growing labor force, declining debt. I am just looking for the site that you use to back up the support you have for Obama? I am sure that results matter in your business just like they do in Obama's. All the sites I use, bea.gov, bls.gov, U.S. Treasury are obviously biased and reporting the wrong information.

Back to your regurgitated talking points I see......same old same old.

I have been to Disneyland a number of times, let me know what shift you operate and what ride. Would love to have a face to face with you so you can explain what I am missing in not supporting Obama

I understand, why would any Obama supporter want to publish the Obama results, they really should be kept a secret and you are doing a great job of doing that.

I'm not a US Senator now am I? The reality is.....Cruz is a blowhard who engaged in the silliest form of teabaggery for no purpose other than to fuel his ego and appease the wackos on the fringe of the GOP. He is destroying the GOP....for that....I congratulate him.

Your own vitriolic response shows me that Cruz was spot on....

Don't work there.....sorry Charlie.....although I did years ago. Great place to work though.....

Um, the PPACA is not UHC.

Um UHC has very good results in reducing costs........and the PPACA has not had any results yet.....so, not much to ignore.

I predict....you will not directly limit your comments to my points, you will instead use it as springboard to launch into other falsehoods.
Really? what costs have been reduced due to Obamacare?
Uh, I think I just said that the PPACA has not been implemented yet....so it is pointless to ask for "results".
You keep buying what Obama tells you because he has been so successful in implementing good economic policies which by the way no Obama supporter can offer the source of the data proving that success. Are you ever going to think with the brain God gave you rather than solely with the heart?
You just fulfilled my prediction.

Making mincemeat of it? Surely you jest.....the guy made himself and the GOP look like utter imbeciles. LOL...."low information voters"? Is that why demographics show that the higher your education level, the more likely you vote democratic? I think you have been getting too much misinformation from FauxNews and your right-wing radio pals.

You ought to check your facts first.

Are Liberals More Educated Than Conservatives? (2012 Election Update) | Reflections of a Rational Republican

"In my opinion, certain liberal policies appear to have an underlying paternalistic tone. They hold that the poor and uneducated need the help of wiser government bureaucrats to protect them from themselves. Many liberals believe it is unfair for society to hold people accountable for their own condition. Therefore, the ignorant and benighted conservative voter should just fall in line and let the ivory tower intelligentsia dictate how society ought to run people’s lives. The intellectual is, after all, so much smarter than the average working stiff.

Of course, average working stiffs and/or business owners who have some college or are college graduates have made their own way in the world, have taken risk, and have a strong desire to control their own fates. They resent fiats from a central authority led by a group of over-educated individuals with little or no prior business experience."

I am sure it is, love Disney, particularly the people, patterned my training program after Disney because no one does it better in providing customer care. Too bad former employees don't leave their fantasy at the park when they leave or quit, seems they still live in that dream world where perception is reality and actual reality has no place in utopia.

You stated that UHC Has reduced costs yet haven't backed that statement up so apparently that is an opinion and should be stated as such. The MA study disagrees with you as obviously this is another liberal success story and just think rather than the state implementing it we have federal bureaucrats implementing it for over 312 million Americans.

obama has done far more then this current congress has.

and many of His accomplisments- the first successful attempt at passing a bill attempting to reform the health care system, the fact the GM and Chrysler are still in business, pulling our troops out of Iraq, The creation of the consumer financial protection bureau, the elimination of Osama bin laden, ending the discrimination of gay's and lesbians in the military created by the policy of "Don't ask don't tell" Overturning DOMA- are derided as failures or criticized by conservatives.

and there are many things that obama wants to accomplish-Immigration reform, economic equality for women, environmental protection- that are being stonewalled By conservatives in the house and senate because they oppose such liberal goals.

Baloney. I see liberals on a daily basis that will break down into spasms at the mere mention of Sarah Palins name. You guys would prefer we run guys like McCain and Graham, the kind of guys that are the first to cross the isle and "compromise" the first to turn like sharks on their own party. You can build these guys up as the "logical" and "moderate" choice and then destroy them in the presidential elections when its proven that when given the choice between a Democrat and a wannabe Democrat people will choose the Democrat.

you are right with the first statement as he definitely has played more golf and had family vacations while not calling Congress into session to negotiate a budget which we haven't had in the last four years.

Successful attempt to pass UHC that is vastly unpopular and a job destroyer as evidenced by the employment numbers which obviously you ignore.

GM owes the taxpayers over 20 billion dollars and Chrysler is owned by the Italians. Congrats liberals and Obama. But on the positive note the unions own GM and the bond holders got screwed.

Pulling the troops out of Iraq is quite an accomplishment especially since Bush negotiated that removal with the status of forces agreement in 2008 so yes, Obama executed and then left Iraq exposed with no footprint there.

Yes, congratulations on getting bin Laden, glad to hear the war on terror is over. Better tell that to the Iranians, the Libyans, the Egyptians, and of course the home grown terrorists here

I could go on but I am waiting for concrete results of those items that impact the economic conditions in this country and the sites that support your claim?

So what you are telling me is that there are many things he WANTS to accomplish but doesn't have the leadership skills to get the job done? Guess Obama is the only President ever to have to deal with the opposition party and of course those other Presidents all had filibuster proof Senates, didn't they? Please provide specific economic results not pipe dreams of results to come. Maybe you can explain why he has a 43% JAR so what do you know that 57% of the people don't?

You stated that UHC Has reduced costs
Yes Con "Universal Health Care" has lower costs compared to the US private insurance regime.

You still have not gotten the basic flaw in your original statement. The PPACA is NOT Universal Health Care. It is an expanding of the US private insurance regime.

UHC is associated with health care in Europe, Britain, Japan, Taiwan....

LOL....you guys keep failing with trying to use Benghazi. It didn't work the first 784 times.....what makes you think the 785th is going to be the charm. Sorry Charlie....the American people are buying it....

The guy they blamed for starting the attack, you remember, that movie that Hillary blamed but really had nothing to do with it. They just let him out of jail yesterday.

If someone other than corrupt democrats investigated Benghazi heads would roll, heads other than Chris Stevens that is.

LOL, How do you know what my costs are and what others are as well. Guess the people of MA got it wrong. I know the ER's are doing record business obviously at discounted prices. Love how you compare the 312 million populated United States with a 16 trillion dollar economy to Europe that is bankrupt. Got to love the liberal logic

Good luck with that...maybe you guys will get lucky the 786th time around.

what i find ironic is that there exists a possibility that if there is a government shutdown, and obamacare encounters problems, people might blame the problem's or glitch in obamacare on the government shutdown rather then on obamacare, and Republicans might end up getting blamed for sabotaging obamacare by shutting down the government.

I recognize people who stand on principle and admire them. I have no admiration for any democrat and very few republicans.

Where to begin ... Obama himself calls it Universal Healthcare, but he does lie ... as for Ocare as an expansion of private insurance, why then is the US Government so in control top to bottom?
Tell me ... would you call Single Payer private insurance too?
