McJobs and the Minimum Wage[W:123,226]

One could make this argument against any wage increase ever. Of course that makes business have to spend more on wages. That's the point.

And no, not all of it has to go into product cost.

Nonsense. When a job is created the employer hopefully has a salary already planned out in the business plan, complete with costs for increases already on there.

Who do you think is going to pay for this raise?

Arguing that they are worth $15 an hour pretty much explains why they are minimum wage employees. They should have taken qualifications and the replacement factor into consideration.

You see, I don't think it is them saying this.

I think it is people talking for them, and just convincing them to strike.

They can't believe they will doublé their pay, or get anywhere close.

They have to know the are completely replaceable.

I tend to agree. I do sympathize with them but they're not in the real world. McJobs is where you start and then develop a career elsewhere.
