Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary[W:101]

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

I said they were enfranchised. I didn't give an opinion if it was good, bad or indifferent. It's right there in front of you. Stop lying.
Read it again..

I've read it time and again. In context, you were saying it's a negative. You must be following the Fox playbook - imply, but don't say anything.

ohhhh..I see..you've been exposed, haven't you?.now your excuse is "context"..

I said that "for over 50 years negroes have been enfranchised"..Nothing more nothing less...there is no "context" or hidden meaning. Read it and take it at face value..LMFAO..it's right there in black and white. I couldn't have made it any plainer..you're desperately trying to figure out a way to dig out of the hole you put yourself in, we all see that.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

I'll check again, but I believe they are in favor of black people voting.

Sire they're in favor of black folks voting...for Democrats.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

The topic of civil rights is important to me so I want to post this news story.

LA Times

Forgive me for posting a awkward or bad link

Oh brother....... Because there is so much inequality for the Black Community today....

Oh yeah, JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON!

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Or you could read it as empowering and enfranchising black people was a mistake. That would require reading the words he typed instead of looking for a reason to defend racism.

Only a raging partisan hack would read it that way.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Never said they weren't partisan. I'm pretty sure George Bush is in favor of them voting for Republicans. Welcome to "How Politics Works 101."

I see, so the part about blacks being feral savages....well that's just a fact, right?

Sure that's how politics works. No one denied that. But shouldn't we expect more from the average voter to see what's going on?

The Democrats are destroying race relations in the country and you call it "How Politics Works101"? Maybe it's time the electorate got a clue about Race Relations 101 so there could be some genuine 'inclusiveness' in America.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

ohhhh..I see..you've been exposed, haven't you?.now your excuse is "context"..

I've been exposed as someone who reads and thinks! OMG, I guess I can't join the Know-Nothing Party then.

Well, let's see what you said:

"For many of them, the event was a passing of the torch to a new generation to take up the unfinished cause of the civil rights movement--the promise of equality "embedded in the founding of America," as Cheryl LaRoche put it."

Great...Another generation of anti white blacks raised in a constant atmosphere of racial jealousy and resentment..
'Unfinished cause"?

Please. No other race has been given as much as negroes.

Now let's list what they've been given

For over five decades we've "empowered" them, "franchised" them, pampered them, placed them on pedestals as creatures of pity... and for all that spending, pampering and pandering, we have vast urban areas of slums, ghettos, ruins filled with some of the most violent, blood thirsty, savage, feral creatures to ever stride the planet.

OMG, we gave them some basic rights! That's so much more than what anybody's been given in the history of the world! What's next, are we going to stop throwing smallpox blankets onto the reservation? We've pampered them? By which definition of "pampered" do you mean? Slums and ghettos (which existed long before the '60s) aren't the country club. You might have noticed that in all of your research of facts.

We've had over 50 years of forced integration. over 50 years of generous social entitlement programs. and over 50 years of excuses

Over 50 years of forced integration? First of all, how is it integrated if they all live in slums and ghettos? Do you live there? Why are we pampering you?

"Forced integration" means what - we allow them to live in society? We have to share bathrooms with them now?

We elevated the negroes, we've given money to bring them out of poverty, we've passed laws to prevent non-white discrimination, we've advanced them in our schools without them needing to learn, we've given them jobs and home loans they didn't qualify for.

We elevated them? First of all, who's "we?" Secondly, how is it "elevating" them to allow them a few basic rights of being a citizen?

So let's see the "facts" here. Black people have gotten more than anybody else, we're pampering them and elevating them. By empowering them, enfranchising them, and allowing them to use our drinking fountains. Meanwhile all they do is sit on their ass in the "luxury" of the ghetto.

No, I call the fact that Al Sharpton wants them to vote Democratic "How Politics Works." Of course he does, he's a Democrat.

I'm just stating a fact here, the rest of it is your own reading. I've decided to debate like P Kersey, just list "facts" and deny an agenda, though in this case the rest of it is you. Democrats want people to vote for Democrats. It's not hard.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

I see, so the part about blacks being feral savages....well that's just a fact, right?

Well, at least you acknowledge you were wrong about "context"...by desperately changing the subject.

Since you evidently don't carefully read and comprehend before you comment emotionally, I'll correct you on this mischaracterization once again. I was alluding to the criminals...like the ones who killed chris lane, Mr. Belton, ....etc...I posted that very clearly..you're pretending to misunderstand so you can proselytize and grandstand. LMAO..Now, suddenly, you DON'T understand context! LMAO That's called "situational intelligence", I think. You're funny!

Of course they do. But why would anyone vote for them knowing what they have done, and are doing, to the country? Don't you believe the electorate should be better informed?

They'd vote for them because the only other choice is Republicans. When choosing between a douche and a turd, it's not a good choice either way.

Meaningless doubletalk.

Well, let's see what you said:
I know what I said..so does everyone else. It's all right there in my OP. No need to quote it again.

OMG, we gave them some basic rights!
Yes we did. everyone knows that. Your point?

That's so much more than what anybody's been given in the history of the world!

Irrelevant and meaningless chatter.

What's next, are we going to stop throwing smallpox blankets onto the reservation?

irrelevant and meaningless chatter.

Read my post again. The reference is self explanatory. I made sure it would be in the simplest terms. This trick of assigning specious motives and reinterpreting plain english is wearing thin, my boy. No one is fooled.

Over 50 years of forced integration?

When the government passes a law it is forcing people to comply. Compliance with laws isn't voluntary.

First of all, how is it integrated if they all live in slums and ghettos?

"First of all" are you saying all negroes live in slums and ghettos? Drama queen much?
Second. That isn't the legal definition of integration.

Do you live there? Why are we pampering you?
Meaningless chatter

"Forced integration" means what - we allow them to live in society? We have to share bathrooms with them now?

If you don't understand the definition of the word integration I suggest you go look it up for yourself and read it until you can understand it.
You question every single word I post and purposely misinterpret for attention. Kind of like a kid stomping their foot and saying "look at me..look at me"..

Me explaining it to you wouldn't convince you anyway.

We elevated them?First of all, who's "we?"
The united states of america.

Secondly, how is it "elevating" them to allow them a few basic rights of being a citizen?
That's not what I said. Go read it again. I purposely kept it simple so the lowest common denominator could understand. I'm NOT posting it again.

I said nothing of the sort..you're lying again. Go read it again. Cherry picking random words from a post and then adding your own is dishonest.

Oh, c'mon! Surely you can do better than that. It seems you are just avoiding the debate.

I'm sick of this ****. You say things leaving everybody to make their own judgements, and then get mad when they do. Maybe you should say what your opinion is so that we don't have to guess at what it is.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

I thought you were just posting facts without any kind of judgement at all.

What you "thought" is irrelevant to this conversation..
Your "thought" processes have been on display for some time. I doubt that you have impressed very many people. I could be wrong.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Oh, c'mon! Surely you can do better than that. It seems you are just avoiding the debate.

Because there is no debate. Which party cares more about black people? It's just going to be a tardfest. They both care equally little for anybody but themselves.

No one is "mad" about anything. You're exaggerating again.

Once again my post was in plain english.
You've spent page after page trying to invent "context" and hidden meanings and secret codes and grandstanding to appear clever and for some reason trying to discredit or marginalize me. You keep trying to reinterpret what I say, rather than focusing on the discussion.

I don't know, maybe people think you are clever..Doesn't matter.

Then tell us what your opinion is. We don't need a ****ing encyclopedia.

I made my point in the original post.

If you cannot keep pace with the discussion, perhaps you should excuse yourself from it. I appreciate any input you may have, but please read the thread before commenting to avoid redundant, mundane repetition.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Because there is no debate. Which party cares more about black people? It's just going to be a tardfest. They both care equally little for anybody but themselves.

Then give some support for that opinion. There is a real difference between the two parties, both in their history and in their attitudes toward making the country a better place for all peoples. I believe that a great many people are being bamboozled by BS and that the facts support my argument.

The Republicans simply have a better record when it comes to improving race relations than the Democrats, and there seems little doubt about that.
