Report shows how recession hit families [W:391, 502]

That is acting stupidly, government can never do anything as well as private enterprise to wit
the only time you'll ever see something that people don't want, something people wouldn't be willing to pay for, is when the government does it.
The examples are endless.

But which for some reason you are impotent to provide.

And what does any of that have to do with the reality of tens of million of Americans having no future as productive workers and citizens?

And what does any of that have to do with the reality of tens of million of Americans having no future as productive workers and citizens?
That is solely the fault of the mixed economy we find ourselves in.
Those supposed "unproductive workers and citizens" sure as hell seem to be doing just fine! hell their biggest issue is obesity?
As for other's people's supposed plight "Frankly My Dear, I Don't Give a Damn"
I didn't get them in their situation and its not my job to get them out

yeah I can't wait to suck down that SSI from the bankrupt US Treasury

Don't even joke. I'm planning on Uncle Sam owing me $2,400 a month starting in 9.5 years (I am cashing out at 62). If Uncle Sam refuses to cough up the $2.5K each month I will be stuck working to 65 or so instead of 59 1/2. And I *REALLY* do not want to keep doing what I do for a living until age 65.

Hmmm...are we outta trees yet?The United States prints its own money.:2wave:

Dafuq?!?!?!?! Pro tip: Our currency is made of cotton/linen and precious metals but NOT trees. If you have money made from trees/paper; someone is taking you for a ride. And Uncle Sam doesn't print money. Federal Reserve is privately owned by international bankers and a few USA banks that own stock sold to them by the original bankers (Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan, Chase, etc).

But obesity will not be their problem when the right wing has its way and welfare programs are ended. And then you most certainly will give a damn when scores of millions look to folks like you as a source of food.

That is indeed the logical extension of the far right getting its way in matters of public policy. And it will be because of folks like you that we end up in that situation. You combine that with the labor trends and it only spells disaster for America.

So what is your solution for America?

<Cotton tree may refer to:>

Gossypium, the cotton plant, which can grow from a bush to a tree.

And Uncle Sam doesn't print money.

When fed chairman, Ben Bernanke, said this to the House Committee on Financial Services "We Are Printing Money, Just 'Not Literally ".Who was the WE that he was referring to? :2wave:

Federal Reserve is privately owned by international bankers and a few USA banks that own stock sold to them by the original bankers (Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan, Chase, etc).

Q: Who owns the Federal Reserve Bank?

A: There are actually 12 different Federal Reserve Banks around the country, and they are owned by big private banks. But the banks don’t necessarily run the show. Nationally, the Federal Reserve System is led by a Board of Governors whose seven members are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

SOoo...seeing as i own a few shares of stock in U.S. Bancorp (USB) as well a few other financials that means i can have some inside scoop on what the Rothschild s, Rockefeller s,and Morgans are up to?

Your views and beliefs have made it clear that you do not when they reject basic Constitutional powers.

No, I definitely live in the real world. That is why I have to deal with those who wish to initiate aggression* against society to achieve their own selfish ends.

* Violation of or damage to another person's body; or trespass upon, damage to, or taking of something owned by another.

You confuse SELFISH ENDS with the goals set up in the document which begin WE THE PEOPLE. Once you make that fatal mistake you pass up Alice down the rabbit hole and are no longer in the real world.

I always knew the Constitution was just the Communist Manifesto in disguise

Nope. Definitely in the real world. I can tell because I'm surrounded by collectivist control freaks who want to initiation aggression* against society.

Nope - definitely anybody who identifies the Founders who wrote the Constitution as collectivist control freaks is a resident of Wonderland.

And your proclaiming that I am a resident of Wonderland has what exactly to do with your support of the initiation of aggression* against your fellow Americans? You seem to do a lot of personal attacking and not a whole lot of defending your position.

How many times have we been through this before?

Your definition is tortured and contrived and bears no relationship to the real world people live in as it includes normal activities such as enforcing routine laws that are Constitutional and the wish of the American people. This includes such things as eminent domain, taxation and civil rights laws. As such, your contrived and tortured 'principle' is ridiculous on its face.

from your own post 592 in the thread on why Detroit went bankrupt

You advocate that government force be used against peaceful people who have harmed no one.

This is where you fall down the rabbit hole leaving reality behind. You seem to view simple enforcing laws that are constitutional as some sort of weird from of violence. Apparently, the person who breaks the law of the land, bears no responsibility for their actions in this upside down wonderland. Apparently the inevitable consequences of their actions are to be ignored and the mad hatter can just raise his middle finger at the rest of us and still be considered.... in your words ..... a peaceful person who has harmed no one. That is absurd on its face as a person who is breaking the law intended to protect others is indeed harming the very people the law was passed for in the first place.

This has been pointed out to you again and again and again in thread after thread after thread.

These law breakers that you place upon some libertarian altar to be worshipped are not peaceful people not harming no one. They have taken it upon themselves to be criminals and violate the law of the land passed by the duly elected representatives of the American people. It is they who initiated the actions which brought the law and punishment down upon themselves.

So, can we now say that Obama policies are making it worse for the poor, and middle class yet...?

If you wish to, but it may also have something to do with past teem pregnancies.

Problem for you is that I don't feign concern for those not willing to help themselves.

And what is your concern level for tens of millions of people for whom their simply is no place for in the modern economy?

If you wish to, but it may also have something to do with past teem pregnancies.

The rate of births to single mothers in all races is up. Today 72% of births in the Black race are to single mothers, followed by 50% Hispanics, 38% White. The majority of these births are surprisingly occurring in women in their twenties and most of these kids end up thinking Uncle Sam is their daddy.

Marriage: America

When Johnson signed his Great Society into law, only 10% of the births were to unwed mothers. His policies were greatly expanded through other legislation under Carter, Clinton, and now Obama. In the last Census, it was discovered that most of these single mother households did not have any difficulty obtaining birth control. So the problem lies in a government through their policies that encourages people to avoid personal responsibility for their choices forcing those who are responsible through taxation to clean up the messes of others. Enough.

Yes, I know you very well, which is why I was able to predict with near certainty that whatever solution you propose would be based upon the initiation of aggression against society.

Yet another example of your willingness...desire...need..lust to initiate aggression* against those who disobey edicts but who are innocent of initiating aggression against others.

That is false. When a person takes it upon themselves to break the laws of the land as passed by the duly elected representatives of the American people, they are ones who are initiating the events which bring down the force of the law upon themselves.

You are simply proving my point. A person such as you describe is not initiating aggression* against anyone. It is the government that is the first one to employ aggression. That is precisely the policy I predicted you would support, and you have proven me to be correct. You support the initiation of aggression by the government.

As I initially predicted, you are once again demonstrating your advocacy for the government being the first one to employ aggression*.

Ignore him

This is the same guy that has been saying for 5 years it's "Bush's fault"

Obama has wasted trillions of dollars. Robbed the middle class and the poor. His policies (especially Obamacare) are directly responsible for this misery. One only needs to look at the Reagan Recovery to see what a real recovery looks like.

Correct, this so called "Recovery" is going to be seen for what it is, a smokescreen. My company shed 1 million in salary and benefits two weeks ago and we are tied to energy and infratstructure. The sad thing is there are so many relying on government compensation and/or disability and welfare, the days of fast growth are probably gone.
