635, if you count the Senate.
No, it's 535 if you count the Senate. There's 435 in the House.

Nope....never was a member there.

You were either a member at USPOL or Ebaums....
Oh crap....my bad. Why did I think there was 535 in the house?
Nope...neither one....this is my third membership to a political MB. My first was USMB, then JPP....now here. Before that it was just a Steelers MB.
Meh, the fair can do whatever it likes in this case imho.
As to your post, I have absolutely no reason why you included the picture of the GWB head from Game of Thrones which is an entirely seperate situation.
In one case a person intentionally put on an Obama mask as part of his "clown" costume with the direct intent of making it perfectly clear he was referencing Obama to the point of having the PA announcer ask the crowd if they wanted to see Obama "ran down by a Bull".
In the other case crew members on a TV set grabbed a bunch of dummy heads that were on hand, threw wigs on them, to use them as props and purposefully turned the face away along with giving it long hair to not make it clear that it was a model of the former President and was publicly stated that it was done for absolutely no political reason and in no way was highlighted by those doing it.
Yes, TOTALLY similar enough to warrant using that picture alone to demonstrate your thoughts on this issue.

Can we get beyond simple civics?
If anyone really wants to see political clowns, the Capitol building has 535 of them performing daily.
Apparently they did a spoof of George HW Bush at a rodeo and totally destroyed the mask, and no one got banned and no outrage.
If you don't even know the composition of our congress then why should I take your opinion seriously? - or anyone that is just as ignorant as you are for that matter?

First rule of performance: know your audience.
By all accounts, the "audience" of the Obama incident had no issue with the performance. It was after it became more public knowledge that others began having the problem.

You really doubt that the Senate has 435 members?
You don't know government and their position in government.

As many people have pointed out, all other presidents have been lampooned in this way.
So why has this turned into such a big deal?
In my opinion the answer is that it's because Obama has become so impotent, which leads his supporters to make responses to criticisms that are exaggerated and ... well ... absurd. Even light hearted jabs like this rodeo clown thing are intolerable to these people because they know how weak their position has become.

How did the thread go from a rodeo clown to this?
