The jury in the trial of convicted mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger found him guilty Monday on 31 of 32 counts -- including involvement in 11 murders. The guilty verdicts in the federal racketeering trial could bring a sentence of up to life in prison for the 83-year-old Bulger.
Sentencing is set for November 13.
"So many peoples' lives were so terribly harmed by the criminal actions of Bulger and his crew. And today's conviction does not alter that harm, and it doesn't lessen it," said U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz, speaking about the victims and their families.
I for one am happy to see the man behind bars because he tried to kill my grandfather a few times. James 'Whitey' Bulger guilty of racketeering, involvement in murders - CNN.com

It doesn't take much of a sentence to keep an 83 year old in prison for life. ;)

I hope they go after his brother next.
