US unemployment lowest in 4 years

Earlier I wrote, "Perhaps you are just a fellow traveler...

No. I think Marxist is a good lean."

If you really had something to say you wouldn't need to resort to projecting labels in a lame attempt to categorize and brush off opponents. It's a rather juvenile way of dealing with issues that you lack the capability to respond to. Have a nice day! LOL :)

And yet...the shoe fits. You are wearing it.

Brush you off? I see you as my enemy. You and people like you are destroying the nation. I am here to stop you.

I see, well if that's your measure I'll just label you a Nazi and dismiss your position as Fascist. You don't have to be one in practice, I'll just project the thoughts onto you. Wow. That was easy, now nothing you say has any value! Sweet! Have a nice day. :)
National Socialism is socialism. Fascism, well, that is what we have here in the United States. The government controls businesses while maintaining a facade of private ownership. And you, no matter how much you want to hide it cannot conceal your disdain for free markets and free people, living in a nation whose government is tightly constrained by a written Constitution.

You see, we have a 17 trillion dollar debt today, a 3.77 trillion dollar federal govt, 22 million unemployed/under employed/discouraged workers, stagnant economic growth, record numbers on food stamps, record numbers dependent on the taxpayers and you demonizing Walmart? You should be demonizing Federal Greed, not Walmart

We should all be...

Then quit complaining about what a private entity pays its employees

That is not "THE complaint." It is one part of numorous problems created by a Wal-Mart business model. I didn't respond to any other part of your post because you simply make no sense. You are so caught up in defending what is patently a rapacious profiteering business model with clearly detrimental effects on our economy, that you simply avoid facts and just stand on "private enterprise" arguments. You also ask questions that have no value in this discussion.

The point is that 1% of our population controls 90% of all wealth; couldn't spend it all in their lifetimes or the lifetimes of their grandchildren; but apparently need to squeeze every last penny of additional profits they can regardless of the economic repercussions. Then there are fools who argue "That's great! Shows how far anyone can go...so even though I can't get there, nor has anyone I've known personally, we can all still bask in their greatness." LOL

Historically, that attitude among the rich and powerful typically leads to popular rebellions and revolutions. I'd prefer that NOT to happen. Still, I'm not going to try to force anything on them, even if I had that kind of power. However this is one of the reasons I am a rabid supporter of the 2nd Amendment...so that if and when s*** hits the fan, I can have some means to defend myself.

It's obvious you and I will not see eye to eye on this issue. That's the beauty of this country (while it lasts anyway), we don't have to agree in order to still coexist.

I'm still going to argue for enlightened self-interest rather than rapacious business profiteering. But gee, it's just a position that obviously has no impact on people like the Waltons or their admirers (like yourself). Cheers. :)

Obviously the private sector makes no sense to a Marxist or someone who is used to having everything handed to them. Profit is what drives the private sector and what creates jobs and it is profit that the govt. taxes to fund those social programs that you seem to love. You have offered no facts just skewed distorted numbers. I am waiting for you to tell me how some rich person hurt you or your family? I ask questions that you don't want to answer so you make excuses.

So what? Why do you care what someone else makes? Is this jealousy on your part. All I see is someone who is jealous and worries more about what someone else makes or pays in taxes and ignores the waste, fraud, and abuse of govt. spending and greed

I spent 35 years in that private sector economy and did quite well. You need an attitude adjustment and stop blaming someone else for your own failures. Worrying about who owns what and pays what in taxes is irrelevant to you.

It's obvious you and I will not see eye to eye on this issue. That's the beauty of this country (while it lasts anyway), we don't have to agree in order to still coexist.

That is true, we will never see eye to eye but I made it in the private sector, raised two kids, and retired successful. I fear for our country every time I see someone like you on line. Your logic and common sense is lacking as are your priorities.
