Oh great, another Royal pain in the ass!
Good one, Chris...

Maybe they'll name him Trayvon Hussein?
I'm just loving your historical accuracy. :lamo
It's clear to one and all now that Winston Churchill's "Never in the field of conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" speech must have been to the 7 American pilots who single handedly saved the United Kingdom from Germany's luftwaffe.
What were their names?
Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Audie Murphy, Charlton Heston, Glenn Ford, Sylvester Stallone and Steven Seagal?
-- the Brits rather like President Obama --
We don't dislike the guy but I think you're going a bit far with the we "rather like Obama" thing.
He doesn't take up as many column inches as say Reagan or Clinton used to.
Anyhow, to go back to the new royal arrival - I'd like a "Richard" (as in King Richard) except that he might not be lionheart reincarnated and if he's a plonker he would be called "Richardhead" - which is a polite version of a popular insult.
Baby now has a name: Jorge Alejandro Louis
Royal baby name revealed: George Alexander Louis - CBS News
"It's a boy! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and husband Prince William on Monday welcomed their first child. The baby boy was born at 4:24 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces. A name has not yet been announced for the child, who is now third in line to the throne."
Does anybody in America care???? Thanks CNN.

I didnt tell him what post. I asked him for his motivation. How about doing some REAL moderating and enforcing the rules of the forum? This is a POLITICAL forum, not a celebrity news forum. Now go ahead and demerit me.
I don't like your attitude but I will answer anyway. This is politics, this is about how the media and those on the left are so fascinated with Europe and think we should emulate them. Witness how they make royalty out of their presidents, JFK Clinton and now the Obama's.
The Bushes actually had two Presidents in short succession. Are they on the left? And is the left in the forefront of lionizing Reagan?
I've met many people who fall more on the right politically who are none the less fascinated with the British royals. It's actually probably more of an East/West thing than a left/right thing. There's a lot of East Coast bias in the media - even in sports. ESPN apparently thinks that we're all obssessed with Yankees vs. Red Sox rather than Cubs vs. Cardinals, Twins vs. White Sox...I assume maybe Dodgers vs. Giants in California.
