Texas Senate confiscates tampons while debating anti-abortion bill [W:155]

Re: Guns Yes, Tampons NO! Welcome to Texas, Y'all!

the information about the crap and piss came from law enforcement that have a much higher standard to tell the truth then your left wing sources

:lamo

Sounds to me like they're (the Pro-aborts) afraid their cohorts really did all those awful things.

They 'wish' it wasn't true.

They can take their Alinsky style protests and GTF out of Texas!

By "Alinsky Style", I assume you're not referring to this:

Got to love the misogyny!

Well, no surprise that you'd resort to name-calling. Looks like the intellectual constipation is contagious.

Did you actually read the article??

Sanga was a bit selective in the excerpt he pulled out of it for his post....

Yes. How do you think the quote was cherry picked to give the wrong impression?

Re: Guns Yes, Tampons NO! Welcome to Texas, Y'all!

It's funny how you all dislike the idea of people having guns until the suggestion of shooting Republicans gets made, then it's all about the 2nd amendment. Lol.

I don't dislike the idea of people having guns. I'm just saying that nobody would have confiscated their guns.

What's more dangerous, a shotgun or a tampon?

so you expect us to believe some butt hurt sore grapes protesters over law enforcement
I guess those baby killing protesters didn't also have their children hold up sexually expecit signs or chant hail Satan either

It was the officers who said the claim of finding feces was news to them.

According to the article, there isn't a person on the planet who is willing to say that they saw anyone bringing jars of urine or feces into the building.

The tampons were confiscated because the people were acting irresponsibly with them. (IE: throwing them)

If the gun owners were throwing their guns at people, they would've had their guns confiscated as well.

Actually, I don't think anyone actually threw them. There were a couple of Twittery type threats to do so...

I suppose you'll be in favor of confiscating guns at the next NRA rally?

That seems kind of like a threat to me. Does it only count if it's Twitter?

Well obviously no, we're only supposed to believe what we read in right wing blogs...

Depends...

At a 1992 concert, Donita Sparks pulled out her tampon on stage and threw it into the crowd! - OMG Facts

Actually, Rocket, I'm pretty sure openly carried rifles and shotguns would have been confiscated. It's called a concealed weapons permit for a reason.

Yes. How do you think the quote was cherry picked to give the wrong impression?

Because the DPS press release explicitly said that the events DID happen.

Which was then countered by the TT reporter citing anecdotal claims that she spoke to select officers who had not been the ones who found the urine/feces contents. And others who had not yet heard about it. Kinda dicey.

Not familiar with the Texas Tribune. But am initially a little skeptical of the quality of this story....

so we need to wait for a crime to be committed when there are threats to commit the said crime before we try to prevent it. isn't that what prevention is? is to stop a crime before it happens?

the lefts logic never fails to amuse me

So we should probably arrest everyone who owns a car. No need to wait for someone to drive drunk before we arrest them. Prevent it in the first place.

BTW, your logic is exactly the same logic behind gun control. Just thought you'd like to know that you are again actually ADVOCATING a left-wing position.

Now now now, let's not bring gun control into this.
