US Supreme Court strikes down voting rights act clause

yeah, the GOP's treatment of Obama, this decision, attempts at voter suppression, etc. have nothing to do with race ... my bad ... please danarhea ... we don't know each other, but you should know that I'm going to raise the issue of racism (as Obama rarely does - can't because he's black perhaps), especially when it's right in front of you ... race baiting? LOL ...

GOP's treatment of Obama?

i guess you forgot already the democrats treatment of bush.........i am not a fan of bush at all!..........but what comes around, goes around.

You just can't help yourself, can you? bj, the issue is when one finds race to be the problem in every issue...

Aaaaah, Bori ... always reliable but perhaps even edgier than usual.

wake up call for people of color and others who thought the civil rights movement was over ... this decision could top Citizens United ... these men have no shame it seems ... I heard they were going to throw raw eggs at John Lewis's house tonight ... this has to be very difficult for him especially, and to see a black man cast the fifth vote, makes it even more painful no doubt - a man who would not be sitting where he sits had it not been for Lewis and others like him ...

yeah, Bush was treated the way he was by liberals and Dems partly because he was white ... I'll have to remember that ...

Your curtain is open and posters are looking inside...

people who think that some of the requirements being asked by the Texas voter I.d bill are down right absurd, like a gun license is vaild but not a student i.d.

(this link is from 2012 so it is before this supreme court decision.)

because out of state students have a student ID, A student ID doesn't prove residence

I sure wish liberals would just think on occasion and stop spewing debunked talking points

I agree with you actually, but it's also a silly statement to make ... how can race be the problem in every issue? Your reaction to the times I do raise the issue speaks volumes Paul ...

Apples and oranges. I will read the manuscript you sent me on a previous post. Just a quick question. Was it pasted?
will you call the court "SCOTUS CORRUPTUS", if they rule in favor of gay marriage. .....will you praise the ruling?

dude, you have to stop playing the race card, becuase the face has been worn off.

you need to be honest with yourself, and not the partisan hack, and admit both sides demonize the other.

Reread your reply carefully please, and then review your posts here this evening...

You mean wake up call that the wheel has started to come loose on the gravy train, dontcha? What makes you sure a black man didn't cast the first vote instead of the last vote?

yes they do, but it wasn't what we were talking about ernie ...

Back to the gun license. Is this a poll tax? What do you need to get a gun license in Texas? Are people excluded from a gun license for certain things like psychotropic meds? Is this meant as a proliferation of guns? Texas is also trying to scare citizens not to vote. Truly Fascist indeed.

rightie con Repubs would ask for proof out-of-state students have voted
