The thing is, the head of the IRS said there was favoritism going on for at least 18 months. Now if you are in a position to call him a liar then you'll need some pretty good evidence for support that he seems to be lacking. Certainly at some point, with all the admissions going around, you'll surely accept the truth. Or will you?

The article was debunking Lois Lerner's claim, not mine. If you look at the numbers, the claims went up just as I wrote.

Yes, and as the article said the increase was "relatively small." Can you just be honest here and admit that the IRS hacks like Lerner, and Paz were using the power of the IRS to target political enemies during an election cycle.

Your claim, and Lois Lerner's are a distinction without a difference.

Rep. Ellijah Cummings released the IRS transcripts today and apparently there is nothing that points a finger at the Obama Administration. Rep. Darrell Issa is the corrupt bastard.

The head of the IRS said it was going on for 18 months but, so far, there has been no links to the White House. However, the matter is still under investigation and there might well be more whistle-blowers, or others taking the fifth We'll know before long..

The article which you linked, and which I had linked much earlier, also explains that the claim that Lerner made, that the increased scrutiny was due to an increase in 501C applications, is bogus. That the targeting of Conservative applications began 4 months before any increase. So that "the numbers went up" means absolutely **** to the debate here. I also quoted much more of the article, in direct support of the argument that I made.

Just like I said.

What a joke. The Obama Admin originally said it was "just a few rogue agents in the Cincinnati office". We now know that to be untrue, which means that the Obama Admin has already lied. Why did they lie P ? And why should anyone with a brain believe they are uninvolved, still early in the Investigation, and where they have already lied ?

Further, both the WH counsel, and the Presidents own Chief of Staff, had been apprised on the abuse before the election (they are part of the WH, btw). Yet Obama "didn't know". You believe that **** ? Really ? WTF !!!!

No, It's still true, those agent in Cincinnati did the targeting, Holly Paz in Washington did the scrutinizing 20-30 of them.

Which ignores a big part of the case, which fully undermines the claim you made about "no involvement by the Obama Admin".

Forget who initiated it (we do not yet know). What we do know is that it was highly improper (IRS IG report) and possibly criminal (Investigation not complete). Given that, both the WH counsel, and Obama's own Chief of Staff, were notified BEFORE the election. Of what was clearly abuse, if not wrong-doing. Did they direct it be stopped ? Did they direct it be corrected ? Is Obama's claim of "I found out from the news, like everyone else" plausible ?

Do you think the POTUS knows how the IRS does their business? What exactly was told to the WH councel and Obama's Chief of Staff? Do you have a link?
