US will supply military weapons to the Syrian rebels.

And end to the use of chemical weapons by a dictator against civilians.

So you are going to end the struggle between the Shia and the Sunnah by destroying one of the parties involved (Shia) and promoting the other one that spouts the same bs (Sunnah)...
...good plan. /sarcasm

Fallen.

What's the point? Think a majority of the rebels are AlQ? No, you can't be that lame.

No one said they were Al Qaerda, that they had an allegiance to or supported the cause of Al Qaeda.
How many black flags have you seen flying over the rebels in Syria when you watch the news ?

I wonder how much Bill Clinton and John McCain played on this decision of Obama's ?
Ever hear of "National Democratic Institute," "Freedom House"and the "National Endowment for Democracy" ?

Obama should have picked sides two years ago. But Obama has a long established track record of not being able to make decisions when they need to be made.

Personaly I say let them all fight it out and kill each other. I think that's what Israel wants to see. America needs a ten year break before we get involved with other peoples wars again.

No, you said they swore allegiance. If someone swears allegiance to AlQ, then they are AlQ.

I've got some questions for the "rebel" supporters here;

A. What is the name of the moderate or/and secular group that you want to support?
B. How much support this group has among the overall Syrian population?
C. Let's say this group "wins" and they manage to establish "democratic" elections in Syria, who do you think would win in these elections?
D. How you are proposing to control the arms distribution (destination) after they would be given to the field commanders on the ground?

Cheers,
Fallen.

Really now, we are going to put an end to it ?

What do you think will be Russia's response ?

I bet you think it's gonna be WW3. The Russians will get the Chinese and then Iran will nuke us.

No, dude, we're gonna tear the **** out of that scumbag regime and Putin can suck a dick.

I knew it'd work, because he obviously knew nothing. He believed it. Point made.

Syria rebel group's dangerous tie to al Qaeda

On Tuesday, al Qaeda's affiliate in Iraq announced that it had merged with the Syrian opposition group Jabhat al-Nusra to form the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant."

The announcement came in the form of an audio message from the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Sheikh Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, that was distributed to key jihadist websites.

The merger was first reported by SITE, a Washington-based group that tracks jihadist material online. The authors were able to confirm the announcement by monitoring the jihadist site, Ansar al Mujahideen, which frequently posts material from al Qaeda, including Tuesday's news of the merger of the Syrian and Iraqi wings of al Qaeda. Complicating matters, on Wednesday al Nusra claimed it wasn't merging with al Qaeda's affiliate in Iraq, but instead was pledging its allegiance to al Qaeda's overall leadership.

And, according to a random DP member who, iirc, did not provide a citation, Al N is 6%.

Tear the **** out of Putin with what ? In case your uninformed, Obama has hollowed out our military. 1/4 of the Navy's ships can't put to sea and fight because the lack of maintenance. Obama just grounded 1/3 of the U.S. Air Force. Even the Navy Blue Angels have been grounded. Democrats in Congress just introduced a bill in the House allowing illegal aliens to enlist and serve in our military as long as they illegally crossed our border before 2012.

This is more of a Shia / Sunni civil war than a Syrian civil war.

I'll discuss this with you if you can make two sentences and the second one doesn't start with Obama.

U.S. to increase military support to Syria rebels | Reuters

Just announced. The US has confirmed it has undeniable proof that Assad in fact used chemical weapons against his own people and, as a result, the US will begin supplying lethal military aid to the rebels for the first time since the war began 2 years ago.

About damn time.

Ya, the last time they said that it was the rebels (including Alquaida) that used chemical weapons.

But, what do you think Benghazi was about anyway??

Btw, They have been helping covertly for years also... It gets reported over and over again, but nobody can seem to believe it...

This is just another illegal war, the buildup to war with Iran eventually...

I just went to the Drudge Report. I swear it was the first time today that I checked out the Drudge.

WAR: USA TO PROVIDE MILITARY SUPPORT TO SYRIA 'REBELS'

No-Fly Zone...
Syrian 'rebels' pledge loyalty to Al-Qaeda...
Key to victories...
Executed Teenager 2 Days Ago For Insulting Islam...
ADMIN CONSIDERS RESETTLING THOUSANDS OF SYRIAN REFUGEES IN AMERICA...

Question:

Are these Syrian refuges that Obama wants to bring to America future Democrats ? How many will go on the doe and suck $100,000 from the American tax payers who do pay taxes before they set off bombs at a marathon ?

Nope I ain't got one (no one really has that is the problem), that's why i was surprised by your confidence in proposing that 6% thing...

Fallen.

And yet you did not question the "most"...Odd that.

The rebels will overthrow Assad, promise to install a democratic government, be devoured by Al-Qaeda, an Islamofascist government will be put in power, all resulting in a nation that poses a greater threat to American interests than the current Assad regime.

In other words, exactly what I predicted would happen in Egypt.

Score one for our short-sighted World Police.

And yet you did not question the "most"...Odd that.

I was much more interested to see from where Ecofarm got the 6% figure....

Maybe instead of trying to guess my motives and etc... you'd try to answer the questions i posted on the previous page;

Cheers,
Fallen.

I did not make any claims involving that. I simply pointed out you ignored one claim, but questioned the counterclaim, even though both are equally well documented,

...And I gave you the reason why i asked what i asked.

And what exactly is equally well documented?

Cheers,

You gave an excuse, yes.

Equally well documented as in not documented.

Are these Syrian refuges that Obama wants to bring to America future Democrats ?

My guess is they're socially conservative, in US context.

Middle Easterner entrepreneurs. Known many of them.

The competition between all of the Mediterranean restaurants is already extremely competitive here on the Left Coast.

The end game with to much competition, they all fail and go under and the proprietors and their employees all end up becoming dependent on the government. Once they have that government monkey on their backs, they are Democrats for life.

Your comments are funny considering those that benefit from Illegal immigrants and dependent folks are slaves to CONSERVATIVE farmers.

Yep, most that do "honor" killings are social conservatives. No that isn't a dig on conservatism, only pointing out the obvious. American social conservatives have nothing on foreign social conservatives. Truth be known, I'll gladly take up arms with American Social Conservatives over foreign "social conservatives" any day.

As to the arming of foreign "rebels", I wish the U.S would not do this. Today's so called "allies" are tomorrow's enemies. You would think the U.S. getting involved with Afghanistan many many years ago would be a lesson into this, but alas it seems America has not learned.

America seems to want to prevent the next "Hitler" by being pro-active, but what seems to happen is America creates the next Hitler instead.
