Mexican-American boy's national anthem sparks racist comments

The point is the kid was born here and his Dad was in the service, he sings a helluva of a National Anthem, yet people question him becaue of the appearence of his skin. Talk all you want, but it is what it is. Racism. Regardless of who says it.
And? Who cares if he's beautiful? Or that his dad was in the Navy? That's just emotional blather. Explain how this "controversy" is anything other than what I called it:

Ok, I will try it again, you can vote until you are a citizen, illegals are not citizens. See the flaw in your logic?

Democrats are enthusiastically trying to import millions of new Democrat voters, at the expense of law-abiding immigrants, public safety, fiscal sanity, the economy, etc...but because Republicans have been hijacked by leftist RINOs and don't put up much of a fight, it's some big outrage that I correctly attribute the problem to those causing it?

Try again. :doh

Clearly the morons who assumed this kid wasn't an American don't care. He's An american. Deal with it.

A Hispanic boy sings the National Anthem at a basketball game and a few knuckleheads drop some ill advised and ignorant comments on Twitter. Sure, the people who dropped the tweets are idiots and deserve to take some heat for their stupidity but is this really front page stuff?

Too much ado about too little, if you ask me. This isn't "Breaking News -Mainstream Media" worthy. Back page below the fold at best.

 Absolutely. But CNN has a crisis of "racism" to manufacture.

Again with the dad in the service distraction. Who cares about that or his singing? This controversy is about CNN trying to invent another example of racist persecution to spoon-feed to its leftist consumers to affirm their ridiculous worldview that everything comes down to racism.

How many of these idiotic tweets were there? Did twitter "explode" with them or was this just a few isolated tweets?

San Antonio's proud of Sebastien. The dark side of the Internet is that its anonymity allows otherwise voiceless cockroaches to express themselves. And goodness, check the readers' comments after any article in any online news source. If you do, you might conclude, falsely, that most people are knuckledragging ignoids. But they aren't. And Twitter is what it is. Not everybody tweets or even reads tweets unless they're publicized as these nasty, ignorant ones have been by CNN.

LEGALLY, yes, you cannot vote until you are a citizen. But since when have Democrats allowed laws to get in the way of an election? Did you not catch all the news stories about districts turning out 115% or so for Obama, when they had gone like 60% for him in 2008?

Besides, the point is, legitimize their crime (illegally breaking into the country) through amnesty, then give them voting rights. Not exactly rocket science figuring out the agenda here.

Appearenatly there are quite a people who think this way, so maybe CNN is right. There are even some on this forum who rush in to defend the racist attitudes. Weird, if it is not a problem, why are there so many of you?

And no, simply being born in America doesn't make someone an American, contrary to everything we're told. Birthright citizenship is a myth. The proponents of the 14h Amendment even swore at the time that it would never be misinterpreted to grant citizenship to people simply by being born here. The other requirement is listed plainly "...and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..."

If you aren't subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, and were simply born here, according to the drafters of the 14th Amendment themselves, that does not make you a citizen.

Just saying.

Nice try but aren't subject to jurisdiction applies to ambassadors and Native Americans. Diplomatic immunity and nation within a nation. ALL others are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States to include foreign nationals.

Mexican being forced on us is about the same as hot models forcing beer on us or smirky stubble faced guys forcing fast cars on us. I suppose back in the day Sammy Davis singing the national anthem would have been forcing that civil rights crap on us...

While much is made of the not in the bill comments made by politicians of the day it isn't law. The politicians can puff and posture all they want but if it was meant ONLY for the freed slaves then why didn't it just say so? What we don't have in the oft repeated quote is what was the question asked? Was it, are them stinkin' Ingins included? THAT more than undocumented immigrants, you do know what WOP means don't you?, was a burning issue back at the turn of the century seeing how Custer was still being mourned/hailed/scorned/idolized.

No Sir I see hate, not concern in this...

More bogus BS, you REALLY suck it all up don't you? First the 'over vote' has been proven by actually vote count to be an UNDERvote with a turnout roughly at 50%. What was done was counting the voter registration of one year with the latest census of a few years ago. It appeared far more were registered than the census said lived there. Play with that booger however you want, but the official vote tally was far under any estimates of voters in the county.

But please don't let the real facts interfere with preconceived notions....

None of which were true. There are very few incidients of voter fraud. The bus loads of "them" people voting illeagally are right wing fantasy.

I live in the San Antonio area. We have a relatively large German population. I wonder what would have been said if a guy in Lederhosen had performed the NA. Some folks need to get a life.

Links please?
go to there twitter accounts look at their profile pictures need to do it quick one has already shut theirs down

There was a time, not so long ago, when people thought poorly of the Italians, the Irish, and
Eastern Europeans. Many of the aspects of those cultures remain in our society today.
The Hispanic portion of our society, is the only one growing much.
In My county, the Hispanic population is already a majority with 41.4%.
Harris County QuickFacts from the US Census Bureau
The beauty of American society, is that we fold in new cultures, and are better for it.
The process tends to retain the admirable qualities of the new culture.
People need to remember the next time the enjoy, Pizza, kolaches, or fajitas,
where these thing came from.

There be trolls.

****ing darkie singing a white persons anthem. They should have their own anthem and leave that one for the pure, true, white Americans.

Seriously though, people need to stop over-reacting every time something controversial is said on the internet.

They should be smart enough to realize that just because someone looks Hispanic, that doesn't mean they are an illegal immigrant. It's a pretty darn ignorant position to take I would say.

No it doesn't automatically make them so, no one thinks EVERY Latino or Latina looking person is an illegal. It just makes the probably much higher.

my city only gave out 5 tickets last year for J-walking does that mean only 5 people J-walked last year?

the way the system is set up it is next to impossible to catch someone in voter fraud you need to admit you did so to be caught doing so

I will give you a personal example me and my father both have the same name im a Jr he votes absenty ballot i vote at the polls, went to vote this year gave them my name and they said i was on the list twice i said shouldn't be one is my dad and he voted absenty he should be checked off the voting list which he wasn't proves that i could have voted twice once for myself and again under my dad name

To say there is rampant voter fraud you need evidence. There is none. Why do you think that is? jwalking is not that important, voter fraud, according to the right wing, controls the leadership of the most powerful country in the world. Looks to me like if it were really true, the Repubs would do something about it. They dont becaue it isnt prevelant. But it does get the base all fired up at them people.

There is nothing wrong with a child born and raised in San Antonio singing the National Anthem of his country. If the kid is a legal citizen of the US I don't know why everyone is freaking out over the whole situation.

Racist? You mean 4 or 5 random nobodies posting comments suspecting that this kid was chosen for the same PC illegal immigrant-apologist agenda that's shoved down our throats 24/7? Again, not racism at all. Just people understandably sensitive to being invaded by criminals and crucified for objecting jumping to a conclusion. And this BS smearing has already been addressed. If you've really gotten to the point where you're just going to start repeating yourself and calling that a counterpoint, you don't belong on a "debate site."

This doesn't even begin to address the numerous problems with Election 2012. I won't re-write it all out. The best list of them is here.

Are German criminals invading U.S. by the millions? No. Way to think that through.
