Roy Hibbert Uses Gay Slur in Post Game Press Conference

How does anything about Michele Bachmann even relate to racist? Am I sexist if I don't like her? Republican isn't a race.

Playing the race card from the right again?

You may not be familiar with the thread or you would understand the Gay reference and how the Left uses these types of terms politically.

I understand that, but I don't see how that ties into race except for you looking for an excuse to play the race card.

Here's what I don't get. Sure, we all knew he was talking about basketball. But why would Hibbert be thinking about homo stuff while discussing the game anyway? Why does Hibbert have homo-on-the-brain and why did the thought of being close to his teammate need to be qualified, in his mind? I also find it odd that the qualification was made prior to the statement, as if the words of affection were worth making the (apparently, necessary) qualification.

Anyone with gaydar ever been near that guy?

No, i don;t believe you do understand.

Do you understand who uses the term teabagger?

I'm not playing your "poor perscuted me" game.

Tell me what Michele Bachmann has to do with racism.

Why are you asking such a foolish question? Do you not know what 'teabagger' refers to and who uses the term?

That has nothing to do with your pathetic attempt to play the race card.

There is no 'race card'. Do you understand that yet?

You used the term "teabagger' on this thread and that has everything to do with this topic. Why not explain what it means and who generally uses the term against their political opponents? Can you do that?

I used it as an example of an offensive term. Apparently it worked.

Next time you go on about liberals playing the "race card," I'll keep in mind that it doesn't exist.

Man, I don't see why 'homo' is considered so offensive. It's just short for homosexual which is an acceptable term. If it's because it's been used in derogatory context so often then the gay community best start looking for a PC replacement for the term gay then. Cuz the young generations uses that one to insult each other all the time.

Here is what you said.
Just try saying teabagger though, and watch them get offended....

Who uses the term "teabagger" and who is the usual recipient of this 'offensive term"? The "them" you refer to. Have you ever used it?

Next time you go on about liberals playing the "race card," I'll keep in mind that it doesn't exist.

Of course it exists, as well as many other Leftist terms designed to cause offense, but that is not the subject of this thread.

BTW, "no homo" wasn't said to insult LeBron or even the gays. It's a popular term kids use to say "I'm not gay even though what I just said may sound like I am".

I don't usually use the word "teabagger." Those who get offended apparently include you.

If it's not the topic of the thread, why bring it up as you did by playing it? Are you a "leftist?"

Apparently include me? Nowhere did I say that. In fact it was you who said it was offensive, not me.

So you 'usually' don't use but do occasionally, is that correct? What does the term mean and who is the object of this 'offensive' term when it is occasionally used?

Which is considered necessary because of the assumption that being gay is a bad thing.

when you're handling sweaty balls all day these things cross your mind

Not disputing that but it is just an expression. When you use the expression "rule of thumb" are you condoning wife beating as long as as the stick you use isn't thicker than your thumb? And many hetero folks would consider being mistaken as gay a bad thing. Especially the homophobes. Oops theres that H word again. I just don't think his intention was to insult. He just chose to use the term at a very bad time.

I'm not playing your juvenile game. Say what you're going to say or don't.

Dude I know, and women are TOTALLY always thinking about sex and that's why guys always say "That's what she said".

Your act is patheticly transparent and purely motivated on your ideology on this issue, so just drop the pretence of it instead of insulting peoples intelligence with your ridiculous coy act.

BTW, "no homo" wasn't said to insult LeBron or even the gays. It's a popular term kids use to say "I'm not gay even though what I just said may sound like I am".

Shhh....people enjoy sweeping under the rug that they didn't actually bother to figure out what the person said and then continue on about "insulting people", because it's much more fun to get riled up over faux outrage than actually realize "Well crap, there's not much here to be offended about" and have to stop arguing. Because for some people it's not about getting information HORRIBLY wrong, it's not about making stupid accusations that aren't grounded in any kind of reality, it's all about just arguing with those they find distasteful.

He used a somewhat commonly used comedic phrase about no specific person what so ever, save for possibly himself, as a throw away thing at the end of a sentence and people got up in arms. The more troubling statement, from a business perspective, was likely his "mother****ers" statement but that's not getting attention because again...it's not about what happened, it's not about facts, it's not about any kind of principle, it's everything to do with two sides having utter and complete hatred and distaste for each other and simply using this as another reason to throw bombs at each other.

No, i don;t believe you do understand.

Do you understand who uses the term teabagger?
Gay guys in their loving partnered relationship?

Which is considered necessary because of the assumption that being gay is a bad thing.

One, it's not considered "necessary" anymore than it's considered "necessary" to state "That's what she said" when someone makes a comment that it could apply to. It wasn't considered "necessary", it was a simple linguistic bit of comedy popular in his age bracket and social group.

Two, it's not bassed off the assumption that being gay is a bad thing. It's based off the assumption that engaging in gay activities by a straight person is a "bad" thing for that person...similar to how I imagine that for a Gay guy the notion of having sex with a Woman is a "bad" thing. Because it's not something they're interested in, turned on by, or want to really experience because it doesn't appeal to them because they're not straight or in this case gay.

I don't think someone getting ****ed in the ass by a guy is a bad thing. I DO think ME getting ****ed in the ass by a guy would be a bad thing, because I'm straight so there's zero appeal to the notion of having a man's dick entering my ass.

I'm not playing your juvenile game. Say what you're going to say or don't.

What more can I add? You use the word "teabagger", a term associated with a Gay sexual act, knowing full well it is offensive. Do you dispute any of this?

Straight people teabag. There's nothing specifically gay about that sexual act.
