Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times [W:243]

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

What do you mean when you say its damning? Do you honestly believe President Obama was responsible the IRS scandal?

As White House spokesman, Jay Carney, so astutely puts forth each day; The President knows nothing about anything...

If he would lie about when he found out about it, he'd certainly lie like hell to distance himself from it ... sooooooo do you honestly believe he had nothing to do with it and what's your evidence?

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

No, you are accusing him, you need the evidence.

Just chatting about the NCAA tournament, eh Mr. President?

Since it's improbable he was visiting BHO personally, the question is which WH staffer(s) he was spending time with. That's worth a subpoena because that's likely the origin of political direction for IRS scrutiny.

all you have to ask is the three building blocks of any investigation means, motive, and opportunity. he has all three
you would be i fool to scratch him of any suspects list until there is evidence saying he is no way involved

Yes, I honestly believe he had nothing to do with it. If he had, there would always be the potential for someone black mailing him. As far as evidence goes, you can' t, in this instance, prove a negative.

So, does just about everyone who goes into a retail store, that does make them guilty of stealing.

and that is why you gather evidence and ask questions to either scratch people off the suspect list or add them

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

OK here we go. Would evidence include a) how many times the person shopped at the store or 2) stolen merchandise in his pocket? Careful now,

What's the crime?

only a liberal would think using the powers of the government and your position in government to politically discriminative targeting to silence and intimidate opposing voices isn't a crime

i guess you feel it is not a crime unless it was done to liberal groups

also you don't have to be charged with a crime to be impeached not upholding your oath of office is an impeachable offense so just knowing about the targeting and not doing anything about it is an impeachable offense

Why does Jay Carney still have his job? More to the point, where did he lose his self-respect?

that is the readers fault the information is in the article. even with the information being provided it is still damming

still waiting for your explanation if he was there for Obama care reasons then why he was there 3 times more then Kathleen Sebelus Health and Human Services Secretary who is in charge of implementing Obama care?

That's a worrisome question.

There won't be an impeachment, but someone on the WH staff is going to be a "person of interest."

Person of interest of what?

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

Person of interest of what?

Person of interest in the investigation of whether there was political direction to the IRS to target conservative groups. This starts with the list of those whom Shulman was visiting in the WH.

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

I've spent enough time at the WH and associated buildings to know the geography. Nothing in the link is surprising or exculpatory.
Did you get past the floor plan of the WH?

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

I read it all.
Good and I agree with you there is nothing exculpatory there. But there is nothing damning either. He went there to talk about health care.

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times
