The former head of the IRS visited the White House more times than any Cabinet member, according to an analysis by The Daily Caller
external-link.png
, raising questions about the nature of those visits -- particularly around the time the agency was targeting conservative groups.

The Caller analysis of White House visitor logs showed former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House at least 157 times under the Obama administration.

Even Attorney General Eric Holder, one of Obama's closest allies, visited only 62 times according to the records.
The records may not reflect every single visit, as some officials do not have to sign in every time they come to the White House.

Just chatting about the NCAA tournament, eh Mr. President?

At this point, it's just curious. More appointments with this man than anyone else on the planet, and at the EXACT time the IRS targetting of conservative groups was taking place.

Things that make you wonder.

No, but to speak about the PPACA aka ObamaCare and how it affect taxes.

Kind of reminds me of when Andy Stern, former head of the SEIU, visited the White House more than members of the Presidents cabinet did in President Obama's first year in office.

I'm sure all the public employee union pandering the White House did was just coincidental.

I truly believe if you guys have to dig through the WH visitor logs to find something to base (baseless) allegations on Obama must be doing a pretty good job.

Sure, you bet.

Then why is that thing so decrepidly put together that unions are running from it in droves?

Yeah, all this smoke, and no fire. Is this your first rodeo?

Its a 156 more times then he met with the Jobs Council.

I'm sure the fact that the Anti Tea Party IRS Union thugs (NTEU) launched their attacks on Jews, Christians and Tea Party Groups the day right after their President (Colleen Kelley) met with Obama in the WH is just a coincidence or something

From the IG Report:

April 1-2, 2010: The new Acting Manager, Technical Unit, suggested the need for a Sensitive Case Report on the Tea Party cases. The Determinations Unit Program Manager Agreed.

Using the logic of the OP you'd come to some pretty stupid assumptions.

Just as an example.

If one were to look through my computer history, I'll admit you'll find the other day I watched a few tribute videos to Hitler.

Right now I'm also reading Stormfront.

Using the OP's logic I'm a white supremacist who wants to gas jews.

But in fact if you took a broader look what I was doing was

A: Trying to understand exactly how someone could idolize such a monster, as it was part of a broader study day watching documentaries about Stalin, the Khmer Rouge and Nazism.

B: Once in awhile I browse stormfront to laugh at the idiotic things that they write about.

The OP's logic in extremely flawed.

Well, of course it is. Did you look at 157 different sites about gassing Jews?

Once again flawed logic.

There's a million other reasons for the increase in visits over the previous administration.

Perhaps Obama prefers in person meetings, perhaps in previous adminstrations you'd see an uptick in the amount of phone calls or video conferences with IRS officials with former presidents I don't know.

The point is not that there hasn't been wrong doing by the White House.

That has yet to be determined with any evidence as of yet.

This is about coming to that conclusion based solely on one aspect of events.

If the president was involved I support impeachment.

But I need a hell of alot more evidence than this to come to that conclusion.

Here's two conclusions for you. Either Obama is the most clueless and out-of-the-loop president of all time, or he's the most Chicago-mafia corrupt president we've ever had.

It's one or the other. Do you honestly believe all this went down without his knowledge? Really?

Nothing smells right about anything going on right now.

the 2nd article of impeachment on Nixon had less evidence then has already been gathered on Obama

:roll:An anti Obama story in the WSJ? Well, that's proof right there.

Really? That's your response?

That's really pathetic.

Hey Boss (Obama) no problem I'll get'um, don't worry about a thing, I'll bring those bastards to their knees, they'll never get a chance to talk **** about you.

Re: Former IRS chief Shulman reportedly visited White House at least 157 times

Its entirely possible Shulman was meeting about the health care act implementation. But it doesnt make sense to have only the easter egg roll stick out as memorable.

Why didnt he just mention the halth care law if thats what he was meeting about?

To most people, the answer to your question is most evident...

Woah, 157 times.... It's tough to argue with those numbers. What I want to know is how Obama managed to blackmail Bush into appointing one of his evil henchmen.

I knew Obama was smart, but this is Dr Evil brilliant. To think that he tricked Bush into appointing Schulman so that Schulman could secretly target small tea party groups (which didn't exist yet). And then he won an election because he asked those groups a few annoying questions when they applied for a status they weren't qualified for even though they didn't actually have to apply.

Which would argue for political implementation of the policy---Shulman took his orders from maybe Jarrett?
