Texas Shooting Spree Leaves 2 Dead, 5 Wounded

This is friggen texas, where were all the heroic gun owners to take down this horrible guy? Oh yeah, ducking for cover while the police did their job. Thank you to the brave police officers who stopped a deadly killing spree and who did their job heroically, and thank you to all the gun owners in the area for owning guns as it seems to have really deterred this criminal. I think it is obvious why I respect police despite some of their less respectable members and actions, and really don't care about the wannabe heroes who think having a gun makes them Wyatt Earp.

Actually, that would be Foreign Muslim Savages foolishly admitted to Europe, would it not?

I am pretty sure drones do a pretty nasty job on a human body in muslim countries. Just saying savage tends to be relative to your position in a conflict because war and killing people in armed conflicts is savage on both sides.

If he was killing to advance a political or religious case, it was terrorism. Glad I could simply a rudimentary concept for the benefit of the slower students.

LOL. If you shoot someone in the face for hate, racism, or money, it's just murder. If you do it for religious reasons it's terrorism. Interesting definition you made up there.

No. to further simplify,

if you shoot someone in the face, assuming of course you are doing so outside of justifiable conditions such as self defense, then doing so for hate is murder.

Doing so because for racism would be murder, but might also be terrorism if the goal were to advance an ideology and inspire fear in members of a racial minority.

Doing so for money, would be murder, but might also be aggravated armed robbery, organized crime, murder for hire, or a botched police raid.

You see? Once one gains proficiency with the language and a minimal understanding of social-political issues, one finds that categorization of offenses to be a fairly simple occupation in most instances.

They're supposed to do a pretty nasty job on human bodies, the goal of which is often to compel Traditional Islamists to eschew savagery. Didn't you know that?

Savage is the damage done. Basically you are being savage to discourage savagery which actually doesn't work. The only thing drones allow is the disconnect from the savagery from the person doing it.

They certainly don't have enough. No state does sadly.

Oh yeah, because part of all of our jobs in life is to carry around weapons to shoot at the crazies. Yeah, that won't lead to any more problems. Why don't we just give people grenades and drones....oh forget it i know where this is going with you.

Reactive barbarity is not synonymous with causative savagery, and should never be morally equated with it.

yeah, because that would make it really inconvenient for the reactive barbarian to justify his actions. They are both related by the fact you call one reactive to the other. try a better argument next time. perhaps one you have not contradicted.

Ah this thread proves once again there is nothing so open minded as stupid you can't fix.

Texas Shooting Spree Leaves 2 Dead, 5 Wounded

its from Reuters..

When will these terror attacks by common Americans stop?

From what I can tell it can't be terrorism because he wasn't muslim.

So allow me to mimic. As always it is a predictable list of open minded deep thinkers that are spouting the morning cup of stereotypical idiocy. They all seem to be folks that never let a fact get in the way of the same screeds they always spout at DP. Likewise they always seem to be associated with super stupid left wing non thinking. WOW! Man this if fun. And easy. Next topic?

Yep, this incident proves it. Let's confiscate all the guns from legal gun owners and throw out the Second Amendment.

Thanks for calling that to our attention, Tererun.

Authorities recovered an assault rifle, a handgun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition from the suspect, who was said to be 23 years old and from North Carolina.
I do wish North Carolina would keep it's own crazies.

Since terrorism seems to involve an organization that remains to be seen, but we do know this is a gun owner. Go go gun owners.

But the NRA is an organisation for gun owners and since this gun owner (legal or not) committed a clear terror act by attacking random people... does that mean the NRA is a terror organisation?
