Imams Visit Auschwitz, Nazi Death Camp, Pray For Holocaust Victims

"Whether in Europe today or in the Muslim world, my call to humanity: End racism for God's sake, end anti-Semitism for God's sake, end Islamophobia for God's sake, end sexism for God's sake... Enough is enough,"

~Imam Mohamed Magid

I thought I would post this as just another piece of evidence which demonstrates there are many Muslim activists out there trying to fight the tide of hate from political radicals on both sides of the spectrum.

There are those who are hell bent on proving that Islam is a religion of hate, despite the fact that the hateful acts are committed by a minority that the majority deplore. The Muslim world is by far more occupied by peace lovers and moderates. It's just the radicals who shout loud, along with governments whose fueled hatred of Muslims and the Middle East are part of political and military agendas.

May the awareness of peace continue to spread. :peace

There are a lot of peaceful Muslims.
Unfortunately on the other hand, there are whole countries and societies that endorse, and support things like Wahhabism, Salafism, there are a lot of societies that endorse movements like the Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah etc... and support them.
So to assert that extreme Muslims represent only a very small minority, is a false perception of the reality we live in today.

Cheers,
Fallen.

Americans are not very loved in many countries despite the fact that many of us are peaceful.

So is the answer to adhere to the lowest denominator and hate Muslims because some of them may hate us even though the vast majority of us are peaceful? 2 wrongs don't make a right.

Uh, you're putting words in my mouth pretty much backwards from my intent. So, let me clarify. Don't judge all by the actions of some.

My apologies, the way I read it I thought your intent was to justify hating Muslims because some of them may hate Americans.

My phrasing was careless and I understand why you misread it. It's all go Bro'.

Too bad they're such a small minority.

There is probably a lot more of this going on than meets the eye. A prayer for holocaust victims is not something all the news media organizations would consider newsworthy. There is no blood and gore to attract viewers. Although more of this type of reporting is needed. Thanks for posting it.

Peaceful Muslims are the vast majority of the Islamic faith.

You saying this does not make it true.

If that were true they would stomp the crap out of the islamofacists.

That is a completely non sensical argument.

Just because the vast majority of Americans are peaceful doesn't mean they've stomped out every one of their violent crazies...

I"ll say it again, there are a lot of peaceful Muslims in the world. However, one one side of the Muslim faith there are whole societies and countries that endorse, promote, and support Salafism, Wahhabism, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and on the other side of the Muslim religious spectrum there are societies that support organisations like Hezbollah, etc...and i'm not even mentioning the African continent.
To ignore that there is a radicalization trend among the Muslim population, is just to ignore reality.

Cheers,
Fallen.

And it's people like you who do nothing to stop pedophiles in America. If you truly wanted to stop pedophiles, you would do something about it. We can only assume you support pedophiles.

Too bad they're such a small minority.

They wouldn't be "peaceful muslims" if they were engaging in sectarian war against the "bad muslim sects" anymore, now would they?
By your logic you should love friendly Wahhabis (Saudi, etc) beating the crap out of those anti american Shias.

Pedophelia is illegal. I support that law 100%.

That's a helluva way to look at it...LOL!!!!

The problem is that the extreme low percent of active reformers within Islam matches the extreme low percent of extremists. With extremists making a louder noise and the vast majority of Islam apathetic and silent because they don't know what they are supposed to support, hate, or love, nothing is being addressed. Underneath the external "terrorism" of the Middle East, hundreds of thousands of Muslims are slaughtered by Muslims routinely. Solving the problem starts with ME Muslims looking in the mirror.

It's goofy leftists making false assumptions which often lead to the problems we have today.

Much like what western democracies are struggling with. High apathy, a few corrupting the whole system, and a few fighting against it.

I never trust any so called "good" religious sect to defend me from the "evil" religions.
The only type of organizations that sometimes can be trusted with application of military force are secular liberal democratic governments.

I don't trust ANY group of do-gooders. I guess that's why I don't like Libbos, because just like every other group of do-gooders, they have an agenda.

Based on what? You keep making this claim, and people keep addressing it with the same polling information, which you simply ignore:

When 70% of the population of Pakistan and Egypt want to execute people for changing their religion, that claim is clearly needs supported. Because at that point, questioning the assumption is more than reasonable

I'm sure all those nuns will really miss your sunny disposition at their next charity event.
