As for the the more statement regarding more or less applications...IRS official Lerner stated

"[W]e saw a big increase in these kind of applications, many of which indicated that they were going to be involved in advocacy work," Lerner said.

Which means they started getting applications from a lot of political groups who were claiming to fit 501(c)(4) status and were spending their money on thing political in nature and not meeting the laundry list of things you can do to meet 501(c)(4) status.

No. The right-wing's obsession with the missed opportunities of the 2012 election has lost all semblance of impartial justice.

Why would Obama even pay attention to an ongoing investigation of any kind when that investigation is eventually going to file its report? If he had tried to obstruct the process in some way you might have a case, but not showing interest in an investigation into bureaucratic corruption when dozens and hundreds of such investigations are ongoing across the government over a set number of years is just weird. Should have he made a point of the other hundreds of investigations or just this one?

It's going to be a fun few months, watching everything you and your ilk stand for crumble under it's own weight.

Watching you guys desperately grasp and scratch at relevant defenses when there are none. Look, there are consequences to uninformed morons blindly electing a President because they were so gullible and intellectually lazy, they believed everything the media told them .

I figured you were being facetious and sarcastic.

Obama should come clean and IF he broke the law, or anyone in his cabinet broke the law then they should suffer the consequence, just like us lowly Citizens.

The problem is unlike Nixon, he won't remove himself for the benefit of the Country. He's not that kind of man as we, the Conservatives have been saying for years now.

But how do you know all of us were quiet and un-outraged?

For example, what do you know about the All Saints Church deal in Pasadena? The writer of the Salon article should be fired over lack of context and content.

Frankly, all the Salon article proved was how scared and pathetic the Progressive Machine is looking.

LOL....the Benghazi "scandal" is already dying out because as expected.....the release of the emails pretty much debunked the whole conspiracy theory and then today the revelation that the leaked emails were really alterations leaked by Republicans further solidifies the majority of Americans beliefs that this FauxNew created scandal was nothing more than GOP political gamesmanship.

Good luck though....you might get somewhere with the IRS story. That one has some validity to it.

The emails have been gone through....there is nothing there to support the conspiracy theory that the far-right fringe is trying to perpetrate...and also in the news today is the fact that the leak to ABC news turned out not to be emails, but rather altered summaries that were leaked by Republicans. Why were altered summaries leaked? There is only one reason....to further the fake scandal that America wasn't buying....and sadly for you and your ilk....still isn't. Next.

Yes, unless you are poor at math, the GWB administration when this occurred was several years ago. Sounds like you were unfamiliar with the IRS action back then. So are you are outraged at the actions of the IRS during Bush as you are now? An honest question.

It isn't about ethics--it is about doing what they perceive is best for them and their interests. same for swing voters, same for white voters, same for democrats, same for republicans, same for young people, same for old people, same for rich people, same for poor people, same for Damn Yankees, same for Southerners, same for tree huggers, same for polluters, same for men, same for women, same for people who vote once, same for people who vote 5 or 6 times, same for farmers, same for vegetable salesmen, same for everybody. Bold? Hardly. Pedantic perhaps, but certainly not bold.
