The screw up happened at the bureaucratic level, some official at the the state department.

The state department made its choices based on the intel it had at the time.

The state department based its report on the 8 hearings.

That is their report, you won't accept it just because the political canidate you openly despise was part of that department.

Although I totally agree that the use of impeachment is over used today, we have to be mindful that as times become more partisan, and get further away from constitutional construct this is going to happen.

You can call it gutless to support the Commander in Chief in the year following 911 but I would say that Bush USED 911 to force the Iraq war on us. There is no excuse for Bush using a tragedy like 911 that happened on his watch to further your political goals.
Of course there were few who dared to oppose him, Bush was waving the flag and threatening the opposition like crazy.
President George W. Bush, in an address to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001 said, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." I guess when he put it that way..........

No, we won't accept it because apparently they didn't do diligence in investigating initially...And now you want us to accept the same department who didn't do a complete investigation in the first place, investigating their own process...Yeah, how could that not be truthful?....:roll:

Unless another group with the same access to resources as the state department comes up with its own offical federal report then maybe there would be something to consider.

Except there is only one federal state department.

Oh Bull Sh**. The State Dept had real time feeds on that embassy as early as October and I guess your'e going to ignore the repeated request for extra security that was ignored all the way up until the day of the attack.

No, Clinton and Susan Rice and Jay Karney and Obama and their continued lies about a YouTube Video doesn't qualify as "State level Bureacacy "

Would you rather have people support two "bad" things simply for consistency's sake?

People disagree with me all the time, and do things that I disagree with all the time. But I'm not going to castigate people for being in disagreement with me in the past when they agree with me in the present.

Your position doesn't make any sense at all unless you're really just trying to appologize for or distract from this Bengazi issue.

Who cares what people thought about George Bush or the Iraq war?

We're talking about Bengazi here and the Obama administration's handling of the issue.

What George Bush did, and what people think about what he did, don't make any difference.

If you think people are doing the right thing in going after the Obama administration's dishonesty, duplicity, lying, and cover-ups then encourage them despite their past failings.

If you think people are doing the wrong thing in going after the Obama administration's dishonesty, duplicity, lying, and cover-ups then make your case against them.

But dragging up George Bush and the Iraq war is a red herring at best and vapid knuckleheadedness at worst.

It adds nothing.

I know, that is why I said I am not jumping in. Time will tell. I always wonder if the party out of power is searching for the truth or just wants to score enough political points to make the sitting president a little less powerful and a president is a very powerful individual. But if the president actually had a hand in stopping witnesses testifying, which at this point in time I don't think so. Then he has a big problem. Right now I know how State operates and they tend to ignore security warnings and certainly do not want troops around. So the best decision I can make, is to sit, wait and see.

Why care about that at all? Instead, how about we get real answers....if they those answers dictate a trial....we give it...if not...we move on.

Republicans need to get back to the economy and fixing our debt. Those American deaths are tragic, but if this three ring circus is all we're going to get then we're disgracing their deaths and duty to our country.

Meh, it's a sad day when our country decides that lies from our government are perfectly fine with them, and that 4 peoples lives are no more worthy of our care than that of a piece of gum on the bottom of a leftists shoe.

Just a little FYI telling your people they do not have an order to go in, which is not having the authority for the military, is not a stand down order from the president or the administration. It is just the lack of an issued order to give them the authority to act. I know the trruth doesn't matter to you personally because it interferes with your fantasy land, but some of us might actually pay attention to facts.

Got anything about the Libyans Warning us 3 days Prior to the Attack on Benghazi......got anything that can Debunk the fact that the Libyan President stated it was a Predetermined and involved AQ? You know that which Team Obama denied.....but now has been brought by the FBI and the CIA.

Got anything to Prove that team Obama didn't deny what the Libyan President stated? Lets not let that fact confuse those such as yourself.
