What is sad to me is making a mockery of their deaths by caring more about political standing rather than actually getting real answers.

I see, so hypocrisy is fine with you eh...As long as you are the one displaying? You want real answers about Bush, and Iraq, but are fine to let Obama treat our diplomats lives as if they are expendable, especially when they might interfere with election year narrative....Good God man.

Wait a minute J-Mac...you have read my posts for a long time. I wasn't part of these boards during that phase of the Bush fiasco. I said the same damn thing back then. Stop making it into a three ring circus and get real answers. It happens all the time. We get a tragic event, or an unsanctioned war...what happens? We get political pandering and ridiculousness.

I have maintained my disgust with both parties for a while now. I have been nothing but consistent in that area.

I think they should concern themselves with getting the answers, and being diligent on that while keeping the circus acts to a minimum.

We all want real answers. We should all demand those while at the same time tell those people asking the questions to hold blame until everything is out in the open. That is the best way we can honor those who were killed. Get all the answers, look at them for what they are, and then take action.

You laid out your justification for the Iraq Invasion, and I commented on it. You can respond to my comment or pretend that it is an irrelevant attack. The choice is yours.

Ok, I'll accept that...Sorry if I took you out of context, but unlike so many in here that are quick to judge, and attack on partisan lines, I served this country for 6 years. And I'll be damned if I let squishy libs get away with the historical revision that they so love to do....Their ideas of what is, and isn't in this world concerning threat to us results in death to innocent Americans, and they are just fine with that....I'm not.

I too will wait and listen today to the hearings...

We hold similar views in most areas Mac. Remember...I am a LIB.....ertarian.

We must stay diligent. Wait for the answers to come out, which probably won't happen until near the end of Obama's term (like the Iraq thing happened near the end of Bush's term). The answers seem to conveniently come out around those times.

I posted the link in Post #17. Fenton put us onto those quotations and when I Googled around, Snopes popped up.

When I saw all of them, it was like an Aha! moment we sometimes have. I've read on DP forever that Bush lied! Bush knew there weren't WMD's. He lied to the American people! He's the worst president in the history of our country. And here it is. Even during the Clinton Administration (where 7 of those quotes are taken) Democrats believed Hussein had WMD's -- even going so far as writing President Clinton to take action:

FYI - I know and do not associate the second Iraq War as simply a Bush thing. Sure, ultimate approval rests with him, as well some of the drive, but at least on the Republican side it was more of a group effort... lest we forget the neoconservatives (who were the primary driving force).

I validated them and why is it so hard for you to understand that Democrats are liars ? Why is it so hard for you to understand that Democrat supporters base their corrupted ideology on manufactured Narratives ?

Look, I dont speak for Maggie but I'll go ahead and let you in on something. There is NOTHING honest about the Democrat Party.

There is nothing righteous and there are no examples of integrity or character coming from the likes of their politicians and many of their supporters.

This thread is a great example as one Lib poster after another comes in here and attempts to mitigate the disgusting actions of their President and his Cabinet by pathetically pointing back to a false Narrative Liberals used to demonize what was essentially a honest man.

There was no way a military fighter jet could have done a fly by over Benghazi. The closest ones were based in Italy and it would have taken hours to arm the planes, launch them, and fly to the crisis point. Add to that is the problem of having no refueling tanker to refuel the fighters.

By the time the jets would have arrived the attack was already over.

Oh but a F22 ? Nah, that would have taken days and days and days.

Again United, IF your bs assertion is remotely close to the truth, why weren't any back-up military scenario's even considered let alone put into place after a BOMB had blown a hole in the Embassies Wall ?

After repeated request for more security were ignored ?

And dont try to float the lie again about lack of funds when your President had added another 6 trillion to our debt by the time Benghazzi was attacked.

Really, try flying over Langley Air Force Base and see how fast some F-22's join you up there. It will make your head spin.

The jets in question were in a Italian airbase, and I believe they were f-16s, not f-22s.
The issue is that there were no tanker aircraft to provide refueling for the fighters. They could not find a tanker aircraft.
