US suspects Syria used chemical weapons [W:284]

Hmmm...Drag you into another pointless war? Are you in the military? were in the military? Understand anything at all about Geo political strategic interests? Seems not.

LOL Ok, why don't you elaborate then? This should be funny.

Quote saved for the next time you complain about anything Obama does. Didn't put a whole lot of thought into your reply did you?

It's not pointless if you go in to win and win quick, with tons of shock and awe. It's when you go in and then shilly shally about, getting all political, that you begin to (inevitably) lose.

Nope, it's still pointless. Libya was pointless. It didn't benefit Americans in any way, and neither would a war with Syria.

Unsupported assertion, and it's false.

It's true and anyone can see so.

Dictators and fundies can eat a ****, democracy now.

MmmmmK, another one of those type posters eh? Since you won't be here long I'll just save you the time, and say bye now.....:2wave:

Interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Kosovo have all helped create a better world. We have not intervened in any meaningful way in Somalia.

Those wars are not over yet, and the war is international, just like Communism. Let's see what happens in those countries within the next 10 years or so before we know the world is better or not.

Clinton pulled out of Somalia when the body bags appeared. Again, you have to shock and awe. That's the only way the US can be taken seriously, and gain respect. Just two or three times would do it and the world would be more secure.

Compelling argument you have there.

Better than the BS you presented, and sufficient to counter teenage agnsty ignorance.

Some people think fighting is never worth it, especially if it costs welfare Cheetos planned for weekend gaming.

It's not worth it!
What have you paid?
My mom pays taxes!! I need Cheesy Poofs!

I don;t know why Libya either, though that doesn't mean Gaddafi was a nice guy. I also don't know why Obama is giving arms and billions of dollars to Egypt.

I'd say let them fight it out, watch from a distance and then, if the victors are anti democracy, then act.

LOL. Yep, Bush magically regained the United States' credibility with the surge. After the surge, countries around the world started listening to and trusting the United States and our great leader, George W. Bush!

What planet are you living on?

Existing budgets are about 100x too big first of all. Secondly, that's what you guys say every, single, time. And every, single, time, it turns out to be a gross underestimation, almost exponentially wrong. No exceptions.

How does that benefit me again?

Learn first. Then post.

10 more years! Awesome! If only you guys would inform the taxpayers how long we are going to be on the hook for your little overseas adventures BEFORE HAND, that would be awesome.

And if we do nothing, who knows, Syria might be a better place in 10 years too. Iraq was almost CERTAINLY gonna be a better place without our intervention, because we literally ****ed that country all to hell. They were much better off under Saddam. Afghanistan, already ****ed up, not much has changed besides the number of people we've royally pissed off in that country.

LOL the funny part is that you actually believe in what you are saying. What would your solution be with North Korea, war?

I'd like to see a detailed cost/benefit analysis that you prepared.

Why should I be concerned whether they are "anti democracy" or not?

My ass for their freedom. I put it on the line because I believe everyone deserves it. (Freedom, of course, not my ass)

You guys? I'd would have preferred bombing the crap out of them for two weeks and then left, telling them no more BS or it will happen again.

You worry too much about pissing people off. Let them be nervous about pissing you off. The US is the one with the bombs and technology. You're clearly wrong about Saddam.

LOL the funny part is that you actually believe in what you are saying. What would your solution be with North Korea, war?

Why war with North Korea? What have they done?

Nope, just the pointless wars that you keep involving us in.

I volunteered to fight in the war. I like war.

I think I see the problem now. You're brainwashed. Brainwashed into believing that you are "fighting for freedom" lol. That's what the Soviet troops told their soldiers in Afghanistan too.

I'm not surprised, not at all. You didn't appear to be a rocket scientists judging from your posts.

I've more experience and education than you've dreamed of.
