BOSTON (AP) — A suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is about to be arrested, a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said Wednesday.The official was not authorized to divulge details of the investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The suspect was to be taken into custody by federal marshals and taken to a Boston courthouse, the official said.The official spoke shortly after several media outlets reported that a suspect had been identified from surveillance video taken at a Lord & Taylor store between the two bomb blasts.An official news briefing was scheduled later Wednesday.Law enforcement agencies had earlier pleaded for the public to come forward with photos, videos or any information that might help them solve the twin bombings that killed three people and wounded more than 170 on Monday.Investigators circulated information about the bombs, which involved kitchen pressure cookers packed with explosives, nails and other lethal shrapnel. But the FBI said nobody had claimed responsibility....​
 
CNN reports, unconfirmed, that an arrest has already been made.

DEVELOPING: Investigators have arrested a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, a federal source confirmed to FoxNews.com.
The suspect was seen on surveillance footage and showed a young man carrying – and perhaps dropping – a black bag at the second bombing scene at Monday’s Boston Marathon. The camera at Lord & Taylor, located directly across the street, has given investigators clear video of the area, according to the unnamed official.

Well, they have't identified the suspect yet, so I supposed that means it probably isn't a right winger. If this person were a Tea Party attendee I expect that the Justice Department would have tripped over itself running to the nearest mic.

The information I have (which may be wrong) is that the suspect is a black foreign national.

Very bad people. But thinking about it after the fact it seems so simple. Like a pipe bomb, the pressure cooker restrains the explosion until it is strong enough to tear apart the container, and a pressure cooker is designed to withstand a lot of internal pressure. This acted like a power multiplier on the final explosion.

The AP report comes as several news sources said investigators have identified images of a suspect seen delivering one of the explosive devices that killed 3 people and injured more than 170 at the finish line of the marathon.

However, there were conflicting reports regarding the arrest, which CNN also reported. Sources tell USA TODAY and several other outlets that no arrest had yet taken place. NBC also reported that there had been no arrest as of 2:15 p.m. ET.

CNN's John King quotes the sources as saying that surveillance video from a nearby Lord &Taylor department store was key in the investigation. Television footage also played a role, CNN reports.

Janet Napolitano said officials continue to investigate the bombing with the FBI as a solitary act of terror.....snip~

Lets hope this is the guy.....they seen someone deliver a package. Although 4 Bombs I kept thinking it had to be more than One person. Not that it couldn't be done by one person. He would just have to be real good.

What is hard to swallow is your assinine statement. According to all sources, the perpetrators were foreign nationals. So please stop trolling the thread.
