I really hope war doesn't break out.

Bluff and counter-bluff.

Launch a dead warhead into Jong-un's backyard to make a point.

I wonder what MASH is going to look like when they remake it because of this?

All the actors in hazmat suits? Doesn't sound nearly as interesting as the original...

Do we really need another half hour dramedy with canned laughter and Alan Alda over-emoting? Reason enough not to go to war.

China mobilizing troops, jets near Korea | Washington Free Beacon

China has placed military forces on heightened alert in the northeastern part of the country as tensions mount on the Korean peninsula following recent threats by Pyongyang to attack, U.S. officials said.

Reports from the region reveal the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) recently increased its military posture in response to the heightened tensions, specifically North Korea’s declaration of a “state of war” and threats to conduct missile attacks against the United States and South Korea.

That actually made me laugh, because I pictured the warhead painted with the message, "STFU or next one go BOOM" in Korean!

Interesting. I guess China wants to protect its marketplace. See Walmart is saving civilization and a US war and the liberals aren't even saying, "Thank you."

However, it's more likely China wants to protect its border from hundreds of thousands of starving refugees if a shooting war breaks out.

Its easy to call for war when you aren't the ones who will have to fight it, or live with the consequences of it.

I didn't say it was a good idea.

Maybe. IDK. If Japan got involved, we might very well have China turn against us. There is no love to be lost between Japan and its neighbors. I am not sure anyone who has never been in or been friends with people in that region can fully appreciate the engrained hatred for the Japanese that some harbor to this day from WWII. If NK attacked Japan and Japan did anything in response, we might very well see Korea become united in a way that we would not want with troops on the ground.
