Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.[W: 168]

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

And you agree with this thinking that it is okay to teach people to be dependent upon government for everything? That might have worked back when we weren't facing a fiscal cliff, but this is now. What happens when there is not enough money to continue fostering dependence? You can't just tell them they're on their own now, and good luck. Not only is that unfair, but it is cruel. We abolished slavery once...do you expect to go back to that?

Did you quote and reply to the wrong comment?

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

I watched it on the ed show all week and learned about it from the original source.
Yeah ... how'd Ed doing, anyway? When you're a nutball lefty and get dissed by MSNBC that's pretty bad.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

The ed show reported a lot about this story, fyi.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

All Romney had t o do to eliminate the 47% was to have is bourgeois buddys pay a living wage to every one. THEN.

No one qualifys for Gov Aid. And so will not vote for Gov people as he points out. (even a 20hr min wage job disqualifys you)

Every one pays taxes. Because now they qualify to pay them.

I know ... and then they replaced him anyway.
I think he exceeded even MSNBC's extraordinarily generous spittle allowance.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

There is no such speech in that video. Just the opposite, the story about the chinese factory was about how much better the US is because things are easier.

Clarification.

They did not replace him.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

It seems the cons are most concerned about romney exposing his true feeling instead of being stealthy.

It's quite amazing how conservatives have to constantly gloss what other conservatives say outright, explaning that it's a joke, or it meant the opposite of what was actually said. It's like the Ministry of Truth without the benefit of deleting the videos.

Apparently so, Bubba. Sorry...I'll blame it on lack of caffeine, or any other excuse I can come up with. :)

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

No? Who's gonna get his time slot?

They moved him to the weekend like 60 minutes.

It is amazing how you twist the truth like a sophist.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

Along with the fact that you couldn't be more wrong about my age or being on my own, lol.

Yeah sure. If you are grown and on your own, then there must be a different excuse for your ignorance of history, but we can't get into that as this is upstairs.

What else should I expect from someone that has an empty chair as his avatar.

Yeah, because football is far more important to life and society.

It's tunnel vision and narrow minds that make up their con reality.

I didnt edit anything.

Its clear that hes talking about both concepts, the number of people who dont pay income taxes, which is 47%, true, and the number of people who will vote democrat no matter what, "48, 49, 48—he starts off with a huge number", also true. He even referes to the 5-10 percent in the middle who are not ideologically set.

Like I said, muddled rhetoric. Nothing new, but here we sit analyzing every word because hes a republican, and he said something youre not supposed to point out. HIs point is correct. People who are dependent on govt are going to vote for the guy who will keep giving them their fix, and thats easily near half of the country, and mostly liberals.

That's just not true. Included in the 47% of people who don't pay income taxes, are seniors and veterans. They do not overwhelming vote democrat, and that is what his statement was about. And you did edit it, because you left out the sentace where he said that 47% of people don't pay income tax. It's not muddled rhetoric, it's what he said, lol.

Yes, I pick apart what politians say. Not because they disagree with me and I want to deligitimize their statements, or because they are Republican. I pick it apart, because they are serving in public office, and I want to ensure I understand their values and perspectives. Mr. Romney's exact words, were that 47% of people, will vote for the President, are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, and don't pay income tax. To lump all people who collect benefits, from the government in together, large or small, long term or short term and then dismiss them as a whole, is not only inaccurate, it's a stupid way to make your case for election. Then he went and backed off of it, saying he miss spoke. In that quote alone he mentioned that 47% number three times. That's not an accident, or a mistake. If you believe something, back it up, don't just pretend you didn't mean it, say your sorry, and condem people for talking about it. It's cowardly.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

Yes, my republican borg thinker.
... I don't know what that's supposed to mean but that's okay...Schultzy was bounced from his time slot and moved to the weekend...his ratings are piss poor and he's a lunatic even for MSNBC.
No one should be surprised he got bounced.

Re: Worker who taped Romney's 47% comment comes forward.

You are starting to get on track. Congratulations.

Still waiting for you to show proof to your claim instead of using the "It's history" lame debate tactic.

In other words you can't back up your claims with facts. Ok, we'll I'm done with you then.

I understand if you do not want to discuss the topic of the thread and prefer to repeat the fallacy you have already stated repeatedly.
