John McCain would do well to keep his idiocy to himself. One of the worst candidates for President ever.

What? You mean giving every family a tax credit for health insurance premiums paid for by... taxing health insurance premiums... wasn't a grand idea to fix the healthcare system!?

The "establishment repubs" are no different than the progressives. Both sides are authoritarian.

This whole fiasco made me lose all respect for McCain... I never respected Lindsay Graham to begin with. All three can sit in Nancy Pelosi's boat along with the skipper Barack Obama.

The Tea Party is out of touch, and the Republican establishment is going to win the war, but that does not detract from the following:

1) By filibustering, Rand Paul made us aware that there is a problem, when killing Americans on American soil, without due process, isn't taken off the table. The way I see it, Paul did his part to pour molasses on a slippery slope, thus making it a little less slippery.

AND

2) He was attacked by attention whores who wanted their own 15 minutes of fame.
