One thing is for sure.....I doubt a former bus driver will ever be the president of the US. This guy is not even close to what Chavez was. But that wont change his stance about us tho.
Not sure if this is arrogance or ignorance, or both.
Comparing the last surviving superpower to a third world country is bogus. :doh
When we wasn't a nuclear armed, out gunning the next 14 countries COMBINED superpower we had a few humble beginning Presidents. The son of a frontierman, no real formal education, outside of politics no real achievements... held THIS Nation together when father fought son and brothers died on the same battle field but in different uniforms.
While some elitists may decry a simple working man leading our nation, it does seem to be a cry heard in hear constantly...."If I was in charge.....!"
I read a post about economic ignorance as well.... seems I recall some voo-doo economics called 'trickle-down'.... that wasn't from south of the Rio.... [/QUOTE]
Well considering I made no such comparison.....it is clear why you have confusion over arrogance or some hyped belief in ignorance.
Despite a voluminous opposition movement, the controversial leftist's successor is almost guaranteed to be Chavez's former vice president, current interim president, and handpicked heir, Nicolas Maduro. Yes, the same man who announced Chavez's death and who, earlier on Tuesday, accused a U.S. spy of somehow giving Chavez the cancer that led to his demise.....snip~
Yes, I would have to agree with you concerning those Elitists. Such as the Progressive Ideology dictates.....wherein they cry and whine about how they can do all that thinking for others. Yet even in the simplest of form cannot think for themselves.
Seems Maduro will walk in the same shoes as Chavez with his stance on the US. Perhaps you should try reading some of that while reading about what he will do why he is in charge and talking about that What If!
