Father wants school dress code changed after son asked to remove Marines T-shirt

The problem here, the really really big problem here is not the shirt, it is not the dress code, it is not a liberal teacher going nuts about the image of an assualt rifle. It is not that it took the super a day or two to fix it. The problem here is clearly Fox news searching for an outrage, every day, 24hours a day 7 days a week. This story did not even make the local papers. It is stupid and meaningless. We only heard of it so Fox can stir up the RW nutjobs out there looking for something to get all stirred up about. Another example of those damn libs in our school system hating on our God, Country and Corps. This is an outrage, but it is not the outrage Fox is pushing.

I totally agree. It detracts from fixing any of the real problems in this country. Getting sucked in does not help them.

Pro tip: the cause and the action cannot be the same thing.

I give up.

pro tip. tucker Case is more interested in being a douche and scoring points then exchanging thoughts and ideas.

What seems to be the problem with a USMC shirt with interlocking rifles?

The PC police are out of their minds!

He should be allowed to wear it.

Likewise, students should also be allowed to wear a t-shirt that says something like "MARINES ARE CORPORATE AMERICA'S DESERT BITCHES."

My sister, who is far more conservative than most of the conservatives on this board(as is her husband, you should hear the two of us argue, though it is all in good fun), thinks NCIS is the best show on TV. I have no clue who or what Gibbs is, so no comment on that.

And that was my point. Jethro Gibbs (played by Mark Harmen) is the central character on the show NCIS. As I pointed out, it hardly indicates she is of a liberal bent.
