Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody[W: 150]

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody

And thanks for agreeing with me

It's nice to see both the left and the right agreeing that the rightwing gun nuts are lying when they threaten violence and that the truth is, they're too cowardly to do anything but post on the Internet

attachment.php

There aren't enough votes out there for "The Left" to do much. It would be funny for the anti-gun nuts go up against over a hundred million gun owners.

I'm hoping that the Libbos will go nuts since The Messiah got elected; it'll spell the demise of Liberalism.

Since the Delicate Flowers aren't going to do anything but post angry rants on the internet, we don't have to do much.

All we have to do is continue regulating gun safety, and the Delicate Flowers on the right will continue to do nothing but post angry rants on the internet and obey every gun safety reg that we pass

So I know

You have measurement of future events? Awesome, can I get the lottery numbers?

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody

No, you can not

What a prude. Here you can see into the future and measure future events such that you can claim knowledge to it, but you won't share anything realistic or beneficial with anyone else. Wow....that sounds a lot like religion.

Hahahah, have fun pretending you can see the future Madam Cleo. Maybe you should start a 1-900 number and make some money.

I want the winners to win big. If I tell, then everyone will bet on the winning #'s, everyone will win, and the prize will be smaller than what they bet

And I don't need more money. I have more than enough for my needs

Well, well! Looks who's claiming to have psychic powers now :lamo

I'm just saying. You sound like the crazies trying to sell their "knowledge" to others for no gain to anyone. All sorts of BS and no results.

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody

You have to, agreeing with me is the closest you'll ever get to being right.

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody

Read the posts here. See how politicians posture themselves with guns. I speak of us as a people.

Read the posts?

I was interested in your direct response.

Are you saying that it is politicians who create the gun culture? It seems few people even know their member of Congress, much less whether they are glorifying guns.

Which politician do you feel has had the most influence on the gun culture in the United States? He or she must be very old by now.

Why are you reluctant to blame the entertainment industry? It would seem obvious that they have a more direct effect on culture than anyone else.

I though the words, "I speak of us as a people," was a direct answer. The rest was a lead in. Politicians posture because we love them and they know it plays well with us, the people. It's the same reason why Hollywood makes the movies they make.

You spoke of the 'culture' and said "I'm not sure the failure is the governments as their role is rather limited. Instead, a country fully in love with guns might have a cultural failure. I think there is enough evidence to question that if not answer it fully".

I'm not sure how politicians posturing can have that much influence on the culture and you earlier said it is not the failure of governments, i.e. politicians.

Who contributes more to the culture than Hollywood and the media in general?

No, speaking of us as a people means nada. And if you love politicians you are a rarity. They rate very low on the scale of trustworthiness.

In fact I have never heard of anyone 'loving' a politician, except in totalitarian countries or those of the Justin Beiber sort.. If that is truly the case intelligent Americans should be very concerned of those who elect politicians out of 'love'. That was probably the case with Obama though. There was no other reason than something along those lines.

I think I was pretty clear. Culture demands this from them. The culture isn't influenced by them. We are the culture. Hollywood reflects it, not guide it. Politicians reflect it, not guide it. The media reflects it, not guide it. You're looking at it backwards.

Now that's some leap. No one sad or suggested I love politicians.

I'm really not sure what you're reading.

It doesn't say anything like what you seem to think it says.

Perhaps then you can explain the difference between this

I have once already. The first comment had nothing to with politicians leading the way or causing ****. It had to do with them pandering to us, the gun nuts. It is not difficult. You stuck in a loop that is preventing you from grasping the point.

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody

This story never gained much traction, unfortunately. Handgun...black shooter...black victim...just...nothing to exploit here...time to move on...

Re: Lone Star College Shooting Leaves 3 Injured, 'Person of Interest' in Custody[W: 1

Here we go again...

Three people were injured during a shooting on the campus of Lone Star College in Houston, Texas, this afternoon, causing the school to be locked down and evacuated while police searched for a suspect.

Police officials who spoke on campus at 3 p.m. today said that shots were fired on the campus and at least three people were injured.

"A person of interest has been detained," said Major Armando Tello of the Harris County Sherrif's Department.

Development:
Campus carry legislation filed in House

AdrienneOReillyOklahomadirectorforStudentsforConcealedCarryonCampus3.jpg

Freshman state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, filed a bill on Thursday that would allow concealed handgun license holders to carry weapons on college campuses.

The measure is similar to a bill filed by state Sen. Brian Birdwell, R-Granbury, one week earlier. Campus carry has been a controversial topic for multiple sessions and has come back into the spotlight after an argument on a Lone Star College campus in North Houston on Monday led to gunfire and multiple injuries. For opponents of campus carry, the takeaway is that more guns lead to more harm on otherwise safe campuses. For supporters, such incidents are proof that current restrictions make those campuses havens for illegal gun use
