It doesn't matter if its legal or not. What you do in your life affects your future prospects. It's just a fact. If this is a fact you have a problem with then I'm not sure what to tell you.

You have yet to explain the professional, classroom-experience difference between a woman who every kid THINKS has done porn versus a woman who has actually done porn that the kids found on the Internet.

Yet, again, the reason for this is illogical. If it's distraction they are worried about than hiring ANY attractive teacher for middle school or high school would have to be disallowed.

The reason given was this would be a distraction. Being a hot teacher is a distraction as well for teenagers.

I disagree. They would NEVER get over it. The real world situation in that classroom would be that the students were being taught by a porn star and no matter what the subject of learning, what they would take away from the class is... it was taught by a porn star. And guess what? Even if, by the end of six months or so, the kids finally did calm down a little bit and were actually able to concentrate on the subject matter instead of what their teacher could do to their.... well, you get the point, there will be a whole new class of kids to deal with the following year and it's right back to square one!

There is no way in hell I, as a parent, would put my kid in that environment.

I took three years of French for 1 reason. Bonjour Mademoiselle Allen. And she didn't HAVE to star in a porno.

This is just such a non issue. Yes...a bunch of prepubescent boys may have a little extra....ummm...homework...material for a while but if she does an effective job at teaching and the school maintains an education standard, that titillation will go away with the first F on a report card.

For her sake, she should probably get an advanced degree and move to the college ranks to teach to escape the adolescent behaviors on display by the 'adults' in this case.

Idiots. What a person has done in the past or behind closed doors in their personal space should have zero influence on their job. As soon as it impacts their job then yes, but spreading your legs a few years ago for money does not impact your ability to teach.

The woman DID porn. The videos ARE out there for all to see. Nothing about this situation is hypothetical and everything about what you want an explanation for is. Do we really have to debate whether or not former porn stars teaching 12 year olds is a bad idea?

This isn't a straw man, you just don't have acceptable answer -- you can't tell me what the difference in the classroom is between a woman who did porn that the kiddies found on the Internet and a woman who looks like someone who did porn the kiddies found on the Internet.

As I said in a post earlier, when I was in school our imaginations were worse than any porn video we would have saw. Either way, a distraction is a distraction.
