PeteEU, and many thousands of other Europeans, are the victims of anti American propaganda. They truly believe that the United States is the greatest threat to the world, not Islamism or, before them, Communism. This is the consequence of propaganda and there is no reason why it will not continue. It works.

It will, J-Mac, but the constant criticism of America by Americans in America (until Obama took it international) does not do the cause of freedom any good either. There is so much good in the US but that doesn't seem to getting to the outside world as much as anything negative.

Maybe there has to be a more aggressive approach in the propaganda wars from the democracies, though the threat of Islamic riots and assassinations to that sort of response will remain. Just as with the Communists, they want all the propaganda to flow in one direction.

I think under progressive rule over the last 4 years has done much to damage our credibility in that respect. We need to fix ourselves before we can preach the moral rightness of freedom to others.

I don't know yet....We do have some bright young stars like Ted Cruz....But it is still too far out to make a educated judgement about that....I hope so.

It's going to be tough for anyone to fight against the hate machine of the Leftists. We can see what the Romneys went through.

Good points. Still, ALJ was the only major network that covered the third party debate during the recent presidential election (unless you want to say C-Span is a major network) while Fox, CNN, BBC all ignored it.

So are you saying a Country should not be concerned about any Foreign entity broadcasting and producing with in its own borders? That they should not have any concern for Propaganda?
