My point...people here continuously ignore the day to day violence and only focus on glitter deaths that they can exploit (you have had a few times at bat...maybe NOW you can show me all that concern expressed here about the day to day violence? Nah...I didn't think so) and your response was to blame the fact that people here and politicians and ALL of the anti-gun set ignores day to day violence was to invoke Fox News. Laughable. 50 threads about the school shooting. 40 threads about the Colorado theater shootings. A years worth of threads on Trayvon Martin. Day to day gun violence, 500 dead in Chicago this year alone, 3000 dead by black on black crime...nary a one. Crickets.
I don't see how it is viable to discuss day to day violence on a day to day basis. On this forum, that would require the creation of, as you said, 500 threads this year alone just for Chicago. So yeah, special cases like these mass shootings get coverage because they are special cases. That's it.
Meanwhile, it will continue to just be on an occasional basis that it is brought up because that's really all we can take.
