OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma laws requiring women seeking abortions to have an ultrasound image placed in front of them while they hear a description of the fetus and that ban off-label use of certain abortion-inducing drugs are unconstitutional, the state Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.

2 decisions from one of the most Conservative state supreme courts in the nation, and they were unanimous on one decision, and almost unanimous on the other decision. I applaud them.

Quite the surprise. Good Job Oklahoma.

Very uprising. Great job Oklahoma!

I'd rather government stayed out of it.

I also don't want to see a picture of a cow before I have a nicely done steak.

I had held some hope, maybe not a lot of hope, but some hope my state's court system is called conservative because of a very cautious approach to permitting government infringing into traditionally private matters. The doctor/patient relationship is heralded when discussing gubmint 'death panels' yet eagerly cast aside to interfere in the ordeal that is abortion.

So I have to smile at the result, it appears Okies have a supreme court that is conservative about maintaining the Constitution and not merely bending to the fads of a political party calling itself 'conservative'.

I just mite wear my Oklahoma ball cap all weekend to celebrate...

Yeah that is one of the problems I have going to a local meat producer--I have to look at the herd as I drive up to pick up my order LOL.

This is excellent news. Very encouraging.

That's surprising, to say the least.

When did that matter to the Obama admin or Eric Holder?

What do Obama or Eric Holder have to do with this decision? Nice try at obfuscating the obvious. LOL.

Sorry, I misread the OP/decision. You are correct. This is exactly what they want...more abortions. Disregard my other posts.
