Poetic justice: Romney likely to finish at 47 percent

When all the votes are counted, could Mitt Romney really end up achieving perfect poetic justice by finishing with 47 percent of the national vote? Yup. Dave Wasserman of the nonpartisan Cook Political Report says new votes in from Maryland put Romney at 47.56 percent. He predicts with certainty that with all of New York and California counted, Romney will end up below 47.5 percent of the vote.

Rounded, of course, that would put the final tally at 51-47.

If it ends up that way it will make an interesting footnote in books on the campaign.

Romney stated he had 47% in the original video

Obama was able to buy off a majority of voters. If you look at the polls, Romney even won Independents by a wide margin, it didn't matter. The Obamaphones went to the polls in force.

We get it though. You're a Marxist/Socialist/Collectivist whose simpleton world view is locked in a box of class envy and division. Good luck with that.

Actually Obama had like 8 million LESS votes this time around. The simple fact is YOUR boy Romney sucked so bad that he got 3 million votes less than McCain and lost even though Obama had 8 million less votes than last election.

(Actually what Romney said in the video was that Obama already had 47% of the vote locked up. Because that 47% have a "victim mentality.")

But the Republicans are immensely richer. I suppose that, as with jobs and wages, they hated to pay for what they buy.
