The craziest part, is how the FBI knrw about the affair before Patreaus became DCI and didn't tell ANYBODY.
Broadwell said that the CIA were olding Libyan prisoners in Benghazi and that was the reason for the attack..
We don't know if that's accurate. There is an ongoing investigation into the events in Benghazi.
I agree.. but why would Broadwell say that in public while she was in Denver.. Pretty crazy if you ask me.
First that I have heard this - do you have a source for this new information? The craziest part, is how the FBI knrw about the affair before Patreaus became DCI and didn't tell ANYBODY.

It has all the makings of a thriller spy adventure. Where/who's the spy. Women, sex, access, generals, admirals, provileged info, security leaks, and Mid East wars. Wowser!
No supporting evidence showing that this began a year and a half ago.
All relieved of duties, quit or under fire in the past few weeks. All high ranking. Can anyone add to the list? Sounds unprecedented to me.
*Gen. John R. Allen, the top American and NATO commander in Afghanistan
*General Patraeus-CIA Director
*Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette-Command of Carrier Strike Group 3
*General Carter Ham- Commander AFRICOM

.. and you have to wonder about any general who can send 20-30 thousand personal emails in 2 years.
I don't know...roughly 34 emails a day...I think my old boss had more than that.
Pretty crazy indeed since it seems likely that she was just parroting something she heard on Fox. I don’t have the link handy but given something else she said at the time, that seems to be here [non]source.I agree.. but why would Broadwell say that in public while she was in Denver.. Of course. That is why I commented as I did.You didnt read the article?
No kidding, FBI careers need to stop because of this garbage.Pretty crazy indeed since it seems likely that she was just parroting something she heard on Fox. I don’t have the link handy but given something else she said at the time, that seems to be here [non]source.
EDIT: The crazy, CRAZY part is the shirtless FBI agent friend of Jill Kelly who started this investigation at the personal request of his friend, then got yanked off the case because his superiors’ [supposed] of concerns of personal attachment/involvement with the case (something to do with a topless pic he emailed to Kelly). So what does buff FBI guy do? Calls the Cantor in the House, who thus learns about the investigation before the GD President since somehow it hadn’t made it up the chain of command to the WH yet?
Falcon Crest? Toss in Dallas, Dynasty, and General Hospital and you are starting to get close..
:shock::doh
Carter Ham is working on the Mali situation..
Rear Admiral Gaouette has rumors flying about everything from sexual misconduct to mutiny.
Patraeus is in hotwater because of his affair.. and you have to wonder about any general who can send 20-30 thousand personal emails in 2 years.
Do you have a link? Did Petraeus send that many personal emails in two years?
