Filmmaker Innocence os Muslims Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison.....

And had he not violated his parole by doing this, he would be free and clear. The fact is, what he did was illegal (i.e. against his parole). He was punished for that.

Are you saying he should have been allowed to violate his parole because he was insulting Muslims while doing so?

Are you saying there's something wrong with people who insult Blacks/Jews/Asians/Muslims etc?

Why do you hate America's freedom?

IIRC, Woods father said that Hillary told him not to worry, they were going to get this guy who made the film....

funny, Obama says he wants to "bring those responsible to justice," little did American's know that meant he would go after Americans not terrorists that actually attacked.

Yeah, what gets me she is she told him he would be arrested. Then he was.

I think that wrong impression Is the one we'll see in the Arab/Muslim world.
That he was [really] punished for 'insulting Islam'.
That part of the Arab World, that is, that doesn't still think it was 'a Jew' behind the film.

Oh yes.. Nakoula initially claimed that 100 Israelis financed his nasty video..

He absolutely intended to incite.

Got it.....Islam as a religion off limits....Christianity anything goes.

America is changing...Not for the better. This is proof. It is a short step to an individual being 'disappeared'....

Yeah.....so did the Sunni Clerics in Egypt that called on Muslims to protest the US Embassies. Uhm, I don't see Morsi's azz arresting them!

In some countries like Saudi Arabia and the GCC, the populace was instructed to ignore the vulgar video.

Yet in 23 Countries Muslims Rioted and off the Word of their so called Holy Men. Shouldn't they be arrested for inciting violence? What about having their noses bloodied for getting vulgar and out of pocket. Showing no tolerance and acting in unlawful chaos?

Not in Egypt....

CAIRO, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, whose
political party propelled the nation's president to power,
called for a nationwide peaceful demonstration on Friday to
condemn insults to Prophet Mohammad, a senior official said on
Wednesday on the group's website.

Egypt's Islamists call for Friday protest over film - Chicago Tribune

Hmmmm....Now who is the head of the MB in Egypt?

Morsi was a Member of Parliament in the People's Assembly of Egypt from 2000 to 2005 and a leading figure in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Me thinks that Obama, and America are being played.

While I think it's wrong, I don't think it should be illegal. However, this person was arrested for their VIOLATION OF PAROLE, not because they insulted someone.

I wonder what the terms of his probation really are. We've been told--by the media--that he was prohibited from, "using the internet", but you just can't keep from wondering if the terms were actually that general.

Big difference between posting YoutTube vids and insider trading.

He used the internet to defraud people, therefore, a condition of his probation was not to use the internet. He signed off in agreement to those conditions, and is bound by them. He broke those conditions, and so the agreement is no longer in effect. He now goes to jail, because probation is in lieu of a jail sentence. When I had my DWI, I was sentenced to a year in jail, but probated to my being free by my agreeing to conditions of my remaining free. Had I broken the terms of that agreement, then the original sentence of a year in jail would have been instituted, because in violating the agreement, I would have made the agreement null and void. Probation is always in lieu of some kind of jail sentence, and if the probation is violated, that agreement becomes null and void, and the original sentence is restored.

It's as simple as that.

Claiming it had anything to do with the video is absurd. It is standard police policy to send a 10 member SWAT team to pick up parolees for investigation of parole violations. You can ask any police department and they'll confirm it.

Can you provide some docs that show his probabtion terms were actually that general?

That would be like telling a parollee who committed mail fraud that they can't mail a letter.

There are a thousand other reasons to use the internet, so I'm having a hard time believing that he was prohibited from using the internet, period--not to mention his 1st Amendment rights are being walked a bit.

Don't forget to dig the terms of his parole for us. I would love to see them.

So why then would Hillary tell the Father of the Navy Seal they were going to arrest the guy who made the Video? Why would the Father of a Navy Seal get on the Lars Larson and show and tell all this to his Audience? Then have it hit the newspapers.

When you can explain the Feds from DC showing up.....to handle a Probation Case. Lets hear the FBI justify that expense.
