ONE her ability isnt being discussed here BUT many people in the world do judge people based on those things.
TWO this shows that people are changing for the better.

You know when I noted that I figured Kagan would vote anti gun if that issue came before her because she is a liberal jewish lesbian who taught at a liberal institution I was called a "bigot" by one person. But I agree with you, an out of the closet gay is probably going to side with gays on gay issues.

But if someone opposes gay issues would it be justifiable to vote against a gay because you might believe a gay would do just what you said
