Indiana Republican: When life begins from rape, "God intended" it [W:266]

On the other front, women will have health problems and could very well die because of them if not treated. I have no reason to deny it.

This is true, Henrin. No one expects it in middle class American women, but it happens. I had pre-eclampsia and then toxemia when pregnant; both the baby and I very nearly died.

Honey, calling you a woman hater is not trolling. It's observation.

Well, don't worry "sugar," I'm done asking you to stop your trolling, lying, and namecalling.

You clearly want to do it anyway and have no interest in being civil. Hopefully you'll have to stop regardless.

I welcome the review of the Mod Squad, and if I am in error, I will mend my evil ways.

As for being civil to you -- hell no, I do not want to. What was your first clue?

Do you think it's "civil" to tell your fellow citizens with vaginas that you do not trust them to conduct their private lives and plan to remove their rights to do so at the first opportunity?

You're definitely reaching.

You know - I was a stupid teen and did stupid **** but I was also religious at that time - extremely - and back then I ended my ways and through my belief, back then, I asked for forgiveness - all that.

It was only later that I really quit the whole belief thing.

So - I no longer believe in the whole 'sin marring your soul' and what not.

I should add that I haven't engaged in immoral, illegal or sinful activity since - I don't even know when. Seems like my morality and respect for the law outlasted by belief in God by a long shot.

Considering that I don't tell anyone "that I don't trust them to conduct their private lives," you're up a creek again, "honey."

Of course, this is just a bull**** euphemism on your part... I trust people to live their private lives just fine while I expect them to refrain from all manner of harmful actions taken against other humans and I expect a just government to punish them if they abuse that trust and perform misdeeds anyway...

isnt if funny when a person spits at you, then you slap them for it and they cry foul? LOL
halarious

Doing the right thing is a joyous, grace-filled experience. I never did understand why so many try to sell sinful behavior as "fun" that must be relinquished, with regret, to avoid hellfire and brimstone.

Any kid who has ever shoplifted can tell you, that experience was shameful, fearful and in NO way the joyous experience that returning someone's lost wallet is.

Pinkie, he doesn't hate women. He just wants to protect the unborn and finds abortion a violation of their rights. He also has a strong and very clear distaste for people that support the act by calling it a choice women should always have. I know people will say they don't support it and just the choice, but the arguments they choose never have any evidence of a general dislike for the act. In fact, they usually come off sounding like they support it full stop.

Neither of us can see inside his head, Henrin, but I've prolly read about 100 posts by him on abortion -- and incidentially, I have never read one by him on any other subject.

He's not like other men who oppose abortion on DP; not to my ear.

I dont know if he HATES them but going by the words in his post he certainly doesnt view women as equal to a fetus, he views them as LESS and would certainly have no problem making them a lesser citizen in the eyes of the law

He has said many times he supports making it illegal, but again, that is not a view that goes with hating women, but instead protecting the unborn from their aggression. I believe he has made this point very clear.

how does your post change anything i said?
what did you post above that has any impact to my statement?

He doesn't view them as lesser to anything. His view is simply not based on that.

thats not what i asked you but anyway

I have read nothing that he has posted to support what you said. Nothing.

You don't have to like my answers, Objective.

I have read nothing that he has posted to support what you said. Nothing.

All I'm trying to do is help you understand where he is coming from. If you don't want my help that is fine.

1.)You don't have to like my answers, Objective.

1.) who said i didnt like it, you in fact didnt answer what i asked. lol
2.) i understand that but how do you know since nothing he has posted supports what you said?

So does Mac, but Mac doesn't sound like he relishes the idea of women bleeding to death from illegal abortions. And Mac has POVs on subjects OTHER than abortion. I think you're kind to try and defend him Henrin, but I have my own theories as to what winds Jay up -- and it is not cute little babies.

not to mention and correct me if im wrong he doesnt support any abortion at all not even in cases of rape.
he wants abortion outlawed
he wants those that have abortions to be charged with murder along withe the doctors who perform the abortion

now of course he uses much more dramatic, distasteful and dishonest language when he makes these absurd statements but I THINK thats the bases of it.

so YES, just like i said he definitely considers women LESS.

1.) who said i didnt like it, you in fact didnt answer what i asked. lol

I believe I did answer your question, but if I did not, please tell me what kind of answer you wanted?

2.) i understand that but how do you know since nothing he has posted supports what you said?

Actually, I'm not interested in getting in a fight with you about this, but I believe everything I have said is supported by his comments.

Understandable for his position. As it is well known I'm also one to not accept the rape exception as valid. It is only consistent to not find the child accountable in such a case.

he wants abortion outlawed

Yes.

he wants those that have abortions to be charged with murder along withe the doctors who perform the abortion

Well since the killing of the child would be a crime it's understandable if the charge is murder. It also makes sense to hold the doctors accountable for their actions.

so YES, just like i said he definitely considers women LESS.

Not really.

1.) well lets go through it.

here was my post

what did you post above that has any impact to my statement?

and you said
He doesn't view them as lesser to anything. His view is simply not based on that.

so no you didnt answer my questions

2.) nobody is fighting lol im flat out saying theres nothing in his post that supports your statement. I can easily provide logic to the contrary, can you do the same? His post support that he think woman as lesser.

I thought you wanted to "help me understand", guess you not?

is the following true?
he doesnt support abortion in any case including rape (except live of mother in IMMEDIATE danger)
he wants all abortions outlawed
he wants abortion to legally be murder
he wants women who have abortions and the people who carry them out to be charged with murder

Jay doesn't feel sorry for them if they kill themselves in the process of trying to kill their baby. I can't honestly blame him for that. Many people don't feel sorry for people if they die in the act of harming someone else. His feelings there are perfectly normal.

I have a name for the feelings Jay seems to have, and "perfectly normal" ain't it.
