White House told of militant claim two hours after Libya attack: emails

What do you think a politician is dude?
A leader!

That is what the job of commander in chief is all about; being the leader of our armed forces. If there is a failure by one of the people under him he is supposed to take responsibility for that failure and make sure that failure does not happen again, not cover his butt and say it was not my failure.

If he would have come out and shown that he was a strong leader he would have gained my support. But that’s not who he is.

This situation disgusts me!

How can we give someone so inept at the job another chance? This man has no interest in protecting our people; all he cares about is protecting his job.

It's very simple for some people, he has a D behind his name.

It doesn't matter what it can or can't be. President Obama should have held a press conference and gotten in front of the American people and at least attempted to set the record straight, once he realized that there was so much confusion over the issue. That would have made sense. That is what other presidents have done in the past after terrorist attacks. Due to his own behavior and that of his administration, people who already lacked trust in him, just lost more trust. It doesn't matter what the man meant to say ...what matters is what the people heard.

No, President Obama should not have held a press conference to release unverified claims from a radical islamist group. Seriously, you want President of the United States to take those people at their word!?

Why not he's leaked reports of every other mitary action during his presidency.

No, that is not what I said. I said he should have had one to clear up the confusion. If there were things he couldn't tell then so be it. But due to his own silence on the matter, ignoring questions on the matter, his own administration giving different stories on the matter, it makes him and his administration appear incompetent. There is a way to be professional and honest without leaking out information unnecessarily. And the only people who are unable to see his lack of leadership in this situation are the ones who don't want to see it and will continue to argue that it just isn't there. You can't make it go away by pretending, that is ridiculous and nonsense.
