Why we know America is slowing down and we need to trade with the emerging markets like India and China. They want to trade with us so why should we stop them.

Now that's a recipe for economic disaster for us. Yes we need to broaden our trade base since we have been rather lazy in that regard with the US sucking up so much of our exports, but protectionism against america is a dead end street for us. They could brush us off for a few years and absolutely devastate our economy. Not only is it bad economics, its being a bad ally and friend.

Much as we might dislike american conceit and arrogance, I for one am damn glad that the world's superpower is America. I don't think we'd like it if it was china or India or russia. I remember the cold war and the bad good guys won over the evil bad guys - best of outcomes imho.

Well trade more with emerging economies instead of the U.S.. We trade too much with you, if your economy sinks so does ours, we need to trade with others so that when your economy sucks it minimally affect ours.

only the fringe, but they get some media play. The serious guys all recommend expanding our trading base, just like every other country on the planet.

We rely too much on America, our economy should not depend on America. They don't do anything for us besides drag us into wars.

From what I understand its a common public display of hatred towards little baby Jesus by many Orthodox Jewish followers in Israel.

In fact it also occurs in the USA - on many levels.

I am sure you know that.

If do recall recently, a visiting Israel Rabbi requesting that a Christmas and cricifix be pulled down that was beign displayed in JFK airport - and the airport authorities did so.

I am sure you are also aware that in the Israeli city of Nazareth it is currently ILLEGAL to publically display Christmas trees and crucifixes - even in the window of peoples homes if they can be seen from a public street.

You should research the issue - its a global phenomenon of hatred towards little baby Jesus. Jews hate Jesus Christ - I am not sure why
