If you truly believe this, then you have had a VERY cushy life so far.

I know people that would dream of having lost a testicle as the worst thing they have ever experienced.


I always thought this guy was an arrogant jerk...looks like I was right to do so.

He's a loser.

And everybody gives him SUCH respect for 'beating' cancer and going on to great things.

LOTS of people beat FAR more deadly and debilitating cancers then he had and go on to great things...and don't cheat to do it.

Just because you 'beat' cancer does not automatically make you a great person.

I am sure lots of child molesters and murderers gave 'beaten' cancer. Does that magically make them great?

Of course not.

My Mother died of it - she did not 'beat' it. Does that make her less great?

Of course not.


People beat cancer usually because it is caught before it is too advanced and they have solid medical treatment. Not because they are 'great'.

He has given a lot of effort, time and money to raise funds for cancer charities. He is a hero to many for that alone. No matter what sort of performance enhancers he used he still had to work very hard at his sport (which has long been plagued by doping) to win. He is still it's most dominant champion.

It has nothing at all to do with your mother and I don't know why you would personalize it in that way. People going through cancer looked to him for hope. That in no way disparages those who die. I will need both hands to count the number of family members I have lost to cancer, but that has nothing to due with my feelings about this.

Did you even bother to go through the "evidence" before passing judgment? If so can you tell us if there is any physical evidence of an actual crime? Or is it just the testimony of those threatened with imprisonment over obstructing this ridiculous witch hunt wherein they are merely accused of breaking the rules of a BICYCLE RACE? Have you given his side any consideration at all? Did you consider the fact that he took 100s of tests and passed all of them? I doubt it.

Murderers and child molestors??? What has he even been accused of that even begins to compare with that? MAYBE, he cheated on a BICYCLE RACE!

This case is ANOTHER travesty of justice. It serves no purpose but to feed the bloodlust and mob mentality of pathetic losers who could have just as easily been entertained by watching a Jerry Springer rerun or whatever trash the loser couch potatoes watch now.

Jealous? I am envious of his wallet (assuming he is rich) and that he is probably fitter then me. Little else.
As for the rest? He will probably go down in history as an arrogant, lying cheater.

It is somehow a sign of your calm consideration to compare him to child molestors and murderers?

You use your free speech to celebrate the personal destruction of someone based on your perception that he is a dickhead with a huge ego. I am using mine to call for an end to feeding this insane bloodlust. You don't like that... tough.

Even if he is guilty of what they claim there are thousands of losers that "cheated" just as much. The only reason he is being attacked is due to his success. We should all be calling for them to QUIT wasting our tax dollars on this circus and perversion of justice, not cheering it on. It is wasteful and destructive.

I am not a fan. I am not a hater who takes glee in seeing someone torn down, either. I got a grip. You need to get one and quit carrying resentment of someone based on mere perceptions of his personality.

I am highly offended that they would spend millions of tax dollars on this gross perversion of justice. It is downright obscene! There are murderers and rapist roaming free because there are not enough funds or manpower to go after them. This is the opportunity cost they chose?

Yes, I am. I am for legalization not decriminalization. But as far as I can tell, they are not accusing his of violating any law.

Lance Armstrong has a few million dollars in the bank. I seriously doubt he needed taxpayer dollars to buy steroids.

Governments should not fund sports of any kind, ever.

If people want sports, they can pay for it, directly. That way the only people that pay for sports are the actuall people that want to.

If the money they pay cannot keep the sport going, then it was meant to die.

My wife is a HUGE fan of Lance Armstrong, she used to be an avdi bicyclist (also motorcylists). Thru a business involvement she also know thru a 3rd party business quite a bit about his substances usage, and not just illegal, but some very exotic "legal" supplements. She is on Armstong's side on this, whether or not he was doping.
