The day they find fraud and manipulation of numbers in the BLS is the day...well I start believing there is fraud and manipulation at the BLS. I think that's a pretty rational view. Sept. numbers may not have been enough to move it down to 7.8%, but with the additional numbers from August, that may have done it.


Anyway around it, we're limping along. It's in the right direction though.

There is nothing good 10.7% unemployment, based on the same levels in Jan 2009. So if you look deeply, the only problem I have is with them not counting those who have given up, and not counting those who have been unemployed for over 12 months.

You can laugh all you want! But I will call out these people for what they really are! I am not ashamed, because I know that it is true! Does that mean I want them to be corrupt? No! I actually hope I'm wrong sometimes, but they keep proving me otherwise!

The liberal world which includes ABC/NBC/CBS is a made up fantasy world. This 7.8% number isn't anymore real than Obama's promises that he would stop the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. As we saw in the debate and this is why this number came out, when Obama is exposed as the lying fraud he is the media plays damage control willingly.

I could hear the glee in the voices of the ABC news radio broadcasters as they came to the microphones this morning to report the propaganda. I laughed. All this tells me is if liberals are desperate enough to claim unemployment is 7.8% when GDP Growth was revised down to 1.3% over the same period where "magically" 875K new "Household Survey Jobs" were found than they aren't thinking this through. They've become lazy and incompetent because the press shielded them too much. It's Human Nature.
 
Just heard the unemployment numbers in this report used different assumptions than prior reports. Anyone have any info on that?

No but I think your views sound as conspiratorial. Those guys don't think they are crazy either! They'll give you 100 pages + of information and logical leaps to explain their position. Ultimately they worked backwards from what they wanted to believe (in your case Liberals aren't just "bad" but socialist/Islamist/hate America whatever the flavor of the month is for the rightwing anger machine)..in order to come to their conclusion. That's how the mind works. I have an uncle that is brilliant and believes the bildergberg illuminati stuff.
