In other news from the other side of the pond, Ukrainian women belonging to a feminist movement called "Femen" have invaded the metros of Paris exposing their breasts (covered in slogans), insisting on equality. Here is the original MSM source for those who have enough French (be forewarned, there is nudity...hell its the French press, I shouldn't have to warn you):

Hopefully this movement gets squashed before it grows, for multiple reasons.
 
if more invasions and political movements used bare breasts rather than rocks, bottles, teargas and burning cars the world would be a better place!

Actually their choice of signboards is one of the things I find most distasteful about this movement.

It is a free country, you can say bare breasts are distasteful, I have found the vast majority I have sampled to be quite tasty! The ones that were a bit bland just needed a bit of syrup, honey, or seedless jam to perk them right up. :peace

I would suggest that bare breasts in public are quite distasteful. Additionally, when they are used as the canvas for some of the worst sort of propaganda it makes them all that much more distasteful.
 
I wonder if they think this will get them any respect, assuming they thought about it at all. There's a right way to protest, then there's this way, which alienates people because the majority of the populace will simply view it as a childish tantrum. "Girls undress and win"? Sorry ladies, but that's just stupid.

I'm sure some will recoil in horror at the sight of a bare breast, some think it is silly, some might actually wonder what their cause is and quite a lot (in my opinion) simply sit back and enjoy the view!

Their display truly embraces the bosom of the feminist movement....I hope they nib the problem in the bud.

They're protesting to gain equal rights, but going about it as if it's a nudist exhibition. That's not how you get a governing body to take you seriously enough to consider your request. If anything, it's going to damage their movement. It's cool that they're giving a free show and all, but I just don't see how this will work in their favor.
 
Sometimes it is all about the attention. The equal rights is if guys can walk around 'topless' why can't women?

No doubt many more restrained folks will tut tut this. but it's all good...

Some folks get goofy is you wear a 'I love Boobies' wristband.

Honestly, the more I read about femen, the more I dislike them. They made protest pictures of them decapitating Vladmir Putin with a chainsaw, they've threatened people with knives, and forcibly cut peoples hair, they sawed down a giant cross in Kiev to protest the arrest of ***** riot, and have committed other similar acts of vandalism as they branch out across Europe. The real joke is that one of their biggest issues is against legalized prostitution, which is the only way to actually protect women in that profession. Their protests are tasteless, they're vandals, and they attack people. So, yeah, not a fan.

LOL. If this were truly a country of Christian Prudes, we'd be much better off. Unfortunately the very ideals that this group is promoting have been relatively common in this country for years. Look at what kids wear to school and in public these days. It's disgraceful and in some cases nearly pornographic. On a broader note, the feminist ideals these women are stumping for have unfortunately existed in this country for even longer than the poor clothing choices have.

Slowly but surely, we are evolving away from our prudish past. Times change, Tiger. Society changes with it, and you cant stop it. You can only try to pass your religious laws to stifle it, and generally, that would probably only work in the states that push religious laws. The kids wear uniforms at school now. Not sure what you mean by "look at what the kids wear."

The changes in society are what is destroying society.

I can't speak for SoCal, but here in the East school uniforms are not the norm outside of private schools. I'm talking about the girls walking around looking like escorts and the guys looking like gang bangers, for starters.

And that's your OPINION. People have been saying that since the stone age.
And from the last time i've heard, there are dress codes in all schools. Uniforms or not. If they are not being enforced, then you'll have to talk to the admins. I dont wish to waste my time with such trivial non-sense. Some kids just want to express themselves.


Now it you truly want to be outraged, why not crack down on those short skirts that the girls wear in catholic schools? Im not sure if you are aware, but there is a fetish for young girls in plaid short skirts. That cant be good for society, you know

Again, I can't speak for SoCal, but here in the East the dress codes, for whatever they're worth, are exceptionally general and do very little to really deal with most of the issues I have with the way these kids dress.

I can't speak for your area, but around here those skirts are required to be almost knee length. I wouldn't mind seeing them go to a full ankle or floor length skirt.

If I ever have children the issue will be dealt with quite easily..... They'll be HOMESCHOOLED.
