The Ukrainians Invade

I can't speak for your area, but around here those skirts are required to be almost knee length. I wouldn't mind seeing them go to a full ankle or floor length skirt.

Well, I guess I can't argue with a religion that parallels the islamic religion.

If I ever have children the issue will be dealt with quite easily..... They'll be HOMESCHOOLED.

IMO, home schooling is a big mistake. But that's another topic.

Just to note.... I'm not Catholic or any other form of Christian or Islam. I don't believe in organized religion as the proper means to Morality and Spirituality.

I'd hire most of the home-schooling kids I know to do work for me. I wouldn't hire most public high school kids to take out my trash.

As promised here is a translation :

title: Femen: "You can't just stop to ogle, stop and think"

The Ukrainian militant group Femen have inaugurated a feminist training camp in Paris to create an army of "soldiers against the patriarchy".

"Out with fundamentalism, Liberty equals nudity": The militants from the feminist movement Femen are in Paris for the opening of and international feminist training camp and they want everyone to know. At eleven this tuesday morning at Chateau-Rouge metro station, the Ukrainian leaders of the movement (list of names) together with a dozen French activists stood nude at the entrance to the metro. They displayed their bodies which were covered in slogans. In this lower-class neighborhood that usually gets into the news due to its security problems, the activists headed towards Deauville road surrounded by a crowd of journalists and surprised, but often rather happy looking by-standards.

The activists have now set up shop at the "Lavoir Moderne Parisien", a theatre in the Goutte-d'or district threatened by imminent closure, in order to begin their "war against the patriarchy".

I would suggest that bare breasts in public are quite distasteful. Additionally, when they are used as the canvas for some of the worst sort of propaganda it makes them all that much more distasteful.

You're entitled to your opinions.

I don't know what they are protesting about, but women should be able to reveal their breasts wherever men can. Gender equality.

The changes in society are what is destroying society.

I can't speak for SoCal, but here in the East school uniforms are not the norm outside of private schools. I'm talking about the girls walking around looking like escorts and the guys looking like gang bangers, for starters.

Why do you care what other people wear? Do you want to form a fashion police?

If I have children I will be home schooling all of them. So much time is wasted in the public school system. There is so much untapped potential in our children that is being wasted because of the terrible education system.

Having literally grown-up with the home school, advanced school, cutting edge private schools debate I don't think any one way is 'better'. Some have faster starts, but I remember cognitive tests showing by early adulthood the field gets leveled again. The kids who MIGHT benefit from intense one-on one schooling are very rare. Kids who have amazing memories could digest a massive rote memory education, making them arcane mavens. Some benefit is gained by attempting to teach broad skills such as organization, leadership, confidence- the drawback is the child in question needs to be compatible with the skill set- can't teach a dyslexic to be card counter.

Smart kids learn and excel in most any stable environment, kids isolated from their peers tend to fall apart easier when tossed into the mix... (I'd mention we have had a few of those types in here)

On which graduate to hire- home school or public school... I think I'd listen to someone who HAS hired and fired people over the years.

I look at attitude more than 'education' as few are taught all they need to know in a school. Anyone you get you need to adapt to your system. Attitude goes a long way there. Know-it-alls don't adapt well.
