Anit-American violence sweeps across 23 world nations

Yea, Al Qaeda should give those filmakers a medal for their support. They couldn't have been more helpful to the radical muslim cause.

Islamofascists are just using the film as an excuse. The film has been out since July on youtube, the so called outrage started on the week of the 911 anniversary.

The cartoons had been out for a couple of years also, and in fact some Imams added a couple of extra cartoons to the list in order to further outrage their mindless flock.

This whole uproar came at a bad time. Should of saved it for later. What a golden and glorious opportunity we have missed here. All these violent enemies standing up in the open and we don't have the leadership with the balls to shoot a single one of them. Someone, quick, call the producer and lets put this in the can for awhile until we actually have leadership and not some candied ass commie coward.

The one in purple is sure pretty.

What do you suppose they would do? Riot some more? Trash another Embassy?

Doesn't really matter what they can, when we have to resort to slaughter then we aren't really in the right now are we?

You were factually incorrect and misrepresented the results of the poll. Whether you did that intentionally or through negligent is of no consequence. The facts speak for themselves the people questioned were of 15 years of age or older and numbered 1000. That does not represent a nation or a decision by a government it is merely fluff. Indeed, the age of majority in Egypt is 21 years old, the very idea of asking a 15 year old is representative of the reliance and significance on this poll even if it were fairly represented by you.

Oh please, not again with your silly theories, I don't actually need that poll to know what Egyptians think about this issue, I live there. The fact that there is an american poll that confirms this is a plus. Those 15 year olds polled probably made up the 1 or 2 out of 10 who weren't against this so called aid. You can deny it all you want, it doesn't actually matter.

I never said it was.

No but you were defending the person I was quoting and responding to originally....He wanted to bomb Mecca.

Talking about bombing anything is just stupid. That is NOT going to happen over a handful of morons, sorry.

I wwsn't defending anyone. I was pointing out that you can beat a people into submission. It's nor as impossible as some folks would like us to believe.

Beat what people into submission?

Yet you cite the poll as evidence to support your position.

Once again you are asserting a fact that has not been established.

I am denying nothing. I have showed that you are "talking out of your hat".

Whoever your waging war against.

Well, I'm hopeful that a situation such as this would never denigrate into a war. Wouldn't you? There would be so many more lives lost, and it would be impossible to get rid of all the terrorists. All we can hope to do with that kind of approach is slow them down temporarily, IMO.

I think people are just upset and venting. Hopefully, people would think twice before actually "bombing" a country over something like this. Really, if we're going to have embassies in places like these, WE should be the ones to make sure that our people there are safe because we can't rely on a third-world country's police force obviously.

No, it wouldn't. That's the gist of my argument. History has proven that the extremists can be exterminated.

I cite the poll simply because its the only one that I could find and it is consistent with whats going on there, If you want to say the overwhelming majority of the thousand people polled aren't good enough representation then by all means, suit yourself. Doesn't change the facts. It seems you only believe whatever you want to believe regardless of evidence so it doesn't matter anyway.

How? A nuclear bomb? That would be the ONLY way, and you would end up killing way more innocent people than guilty. Women, children and babies too!

You misrepresented the poll, I clarified the poll. Simple as that....:)

That wasn't the only way in Europe during WW2. Obviously, we nuked Japan, but even without that, we would have still defeated the Japanese. We didn't nuke the Filipinos. The Federal Armies didn't nuke the Confederates. The Soviets were making steady headway in Afghanistan, before we started training and arming the mujas and they didn't need nukes.

Yes, you can defeat any enemy. No group, or culture is invincible.
