If it all proves true as reported that's a pretty asinine means of protest.

Has Brian Ross blamed it on the Tea Party?

Assault with a deadly weapon is not a "protest", it is a crime. Good thing that DC has such strict handgun laws or the "protester" may have been armed. ;-)

I'm aware of the criminal nature of the activity. I was responding to the "expressed disagreement with the conservative group's policy positions", which implies protest.

Which were not even expressed in any coherent way, much like the OWS loons, who just bust stuff up at "strategic" locations. Violent morons are not protesters, they are simply criminals or domestic terrorists. Protestors may make a sign, give a speech or leave leaflets, they rarely have only a weapon and an attitude. ;-)

Protest can take just about any form.

Which is one of the reasons why I am against gun control. Once the government takes our guns, only the criminals will have them.

It couldn't have been a liberal. We're all too ***** to own guns. Remember?

Well, whomever this crazy is, the link quotes him as saying, "Don't shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for."

However in his deranged mind he interprets everything, I mean.

Article also says he might have been carrying a Chik-Fil-A bag. Who knows?

Actually, it implies that it was a terrorist attack.

“The security guard here is a hero, as far as I’m concerned,” D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said. ”He did his job. The person never made it past the front.”

Just so. Situational awareness like this may well have turned a bloodbath into a wounding. I will never stop wondering how many lives would have been saved in Aurora if just one person saw that exit door at the theatre propped open and went to investigate...

Where do these people come from? If only we could find this place and cork it up.

Billions of neurons in the brain. Sometimes they don't wire up right.

Can we for once pause the gun control debate and give praises that this did not turn into yet another mass shooting?

FRC, GLAAD, doesn't matter who the target of violence was. Violence is violence and should be condemned, period. I hope this guy gets life without parole.

Since there's no such thing as the "liberal media", I expect they will be speculating on how this guy must have been an Occupy protestor or part of some left wing hate group.

I hope the security guard has a speedy recovery...Now onto the shooting. I'm doubtful overall that this is political. Typically these kinds of shootings are brought on by individuals who are depressed and have recently gone through a traumatic experience (loss of job, home, loved one or severe break-up). After which they take up a cause that they devote themselves to in a suicidal manner (coping mechanism rather then seek help). This isn't always the case.

Gee, how come Brian Ross has ignored this whole thing?

How come the main stream media isn't doing all the speculating like they did with the Batman killer or Giffords shooting? If I didn't know better, I'd say they must have some kind of double standard... Or dare I say... a liberal bias... Naaaaa, that couldn't be it.

The usual suspects seen to have avoided this thread...for some reasin

Tha;ts because this guy was either gay or a gay sympathizer.. Doesn't fit the narrative of the evil conservative did it, and all that jazz.

Tim-

I'm really sorry that "guy gets shot in arm" doesn't get as much attention as "multiple people killed." I'm just as shocked as you guys.

You can bet your butt that if it had been a klownsman it would be getting some play. But, since an LBGT activist shot a black dude, some folks are going to avoid it like the plague.

Can't say I would feel sorry if someone who makes it a job to make my life worse dies.

The LBGT likes to call FRC a hate group because the FRC is misinformed about the LBGT community. They say the FRC is a hate group because they have lied and lying makes you a hate group. People within the LBGT community lie about the FRC, they lie about Christians, and they shoot people who disagree with them. And FRC is the hate group?
